Lets get ready for kindergarten! This half day camp is for children going to kindergarten in the fall. This class will give the vision and skills to get students to begin the creative process of using something as simple as leftover cardboard into something artistic and maybe even practical. In two days - 4 hours per day - students will get hands on instruction and come out with a completed project like the one below. Lot's of fun. Camp is driven by young people. It will help identify future college players, teach potential collegiate players the demand of competing at the NCAA level and provide high quality training from a nationally-competitive program. Piano (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Learning how to play instruments fosters self-expression, boosts listening skills, and enhances coordination. This new class is offered as an introduction for students to learn the basics of playing the piano and piano skills. Previous knowledge of playing is not required. It is open for both JAC and non-JAC students. Classes are 1-on-1 and last 15 minutes. The Enrichment Program will coordinate with JAC to transfer students to and from their lessons. Please note, however, the Janney Enrichment Program cannot provide supervision for non-JAC students after 3:30 PM. Students who are in a different class until 4:30 can be supervised to attend a piano class at 4:30 or 4:55. Previously enrolled students are given priority to ensure continuity of learning. 202-724-8950
