This camp is in the morning and will be held 4 days in Holmdel, NJ. Campers will get a lot of touches on the ball while working on becoming a better technical & tactical player. Todays game is becoming more advanced & Christie has built a program that will help your player. Her trainers will include Sky Blue FC coaches & players, national team players, elite club, high school & college coaches. Some concepts Christie and her counselors will teach and incorporate: Reading the game properly, spacial awareness, body language, using your voice, understanding "team", training on your own, build confidence, always believe, being coachable & others. What you do in sports will translate to your everyday life! Campers will receive soccer gear and numerous gifts from Christies sponsors. Tween/teen Yoga Camp - Camp Hill, PA
The focus for this program is to inspire and empower tweens and teens and to establish a deeper sense of self respect and self discipline so they can live a more balanced and fulfilled life. We will empower tweens/teens through journaling, breathing practices, meditation, aerial yoga and mat yoga. We'll have fun and learn to trust others and ourselves through partner yoga poses. Though drop in students are welcome, we encourage participants to enroll in the the entire four week program because each week we will build upon the lessons of the previous week. Camp runs 5-6:15pm on Tuesday, July 19 and 26th, August 9 and 16. Please note there is a break the week of August 2. A minimum of 4 students is required to run the program, so please register early! A refund will be given if the minimum number of participants is not met. There will be a maximum of 8 participants, based on the number of aerial yoga hammocks, so pre-registration is required. Dog Trick Week 7 - Animal Training Adventure Center
Dog Trick Training is a great way to have fun with your dog, and it allows campers to open up a genuine form of two-way communication between them and their dog. Trick training also helps build confidence in dogs and their handlers; and the more tricks you teach, the faster your dog will learn each new skill. Each session will focus on learning a series of three dog tricks, with bonus learning opportunities for exceptionally skilled dogs. This session will utilize training skills and techniques developed by Kyra Sundance, a world-acclaimed Stunt Dog Show performer, celebrity dog trainer, and internationally bestselling author. Campers will have the opportunity to learn and practice advanced dog training skills in order to train their dog to perform tricks. Campers can choose to train their own dog, or they can work with a rescue puppy or dog available at camp. Dogs must be able to focus on their owner and work around other dogs. Campers will start with beginner tricks, followed by intermediate tricks, and finally advanced tricks. Campers can register for this session as many times as they want, learning new tricks each week. Successfully completing the course (and passing the summer reading quizzes and tests on any book studied in the class) will satisfy the summer reading requirement for students enrolling at MUS for the 2016-17 school year.
