LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Football Camp K - 5th - SCDS
This football camp starts our young players with a love for the game and correct instruction to play the game. Young boys love to run and jump and play. Many of them also love to roll around and tussle. If you have such a boy, we would like to help him channel these natural inclinations into a love of the game of football, and to guide him in learning the fundamentals of how to run, throw, catch, kick, block, and tackle. Staffed by SCDS coaches and players the camp will guide youngsters toward an understanding of the basics. Campers will gain an understanding of football rules, terminology, and basic strategy. Each day will include individual instruction as well as competitive flag football games. Athletes of all experience levels are welcome and no equipment is required other than cleats/sneakers, athletic clothes and a willingness to play hard and have fun. Endless Summer 80's Beach Boot Camp Bash - Ocean City, MD
Come one come all.. the season is almost over and it is time for the locals to have a friendly competition. There will be 4 events to compete in. Teams consist of 4- 6 people and must be even numbered between male and female participants. The biggest attraction will be an inflatable obstacle course set up on the beach! The second event is a tray carry competition on the beach- try not to spill! The third event is our rendition of ski-ball- each person will have 9 mallets to try to score the most points. The final event is a flip-pong competition...2 of our favorite activities mixed into one flip cup and beer pong. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams. There will also be prizes awarded to the best dressed 80's team. Jagermeister and Natty Boh will be sponsoring the event. Mug & Mallet will have happy hour prices all day to keep everyone fed and hydrated!!! The cost is $75.00 dollars a team and proceeds will go to the Ocean City Downtown Association. This is the first year trying this event and we are really looking forward to making it a huge success!

Make sure to come out to Cubby Bear Wrigleyville for the announcement of the new name and to help vote us in to Summer Camp Music Festival. It's a battle and we need your support! Most Votes Wins! (T) 2016 Youth Leaders Summit (T) - Shepherdsville, KY
Tentatively scheduled for 29-31 January 2016, the Youth Leaders Summit, or YLS, is a consolidated Troop JLT that is conducted annually - the 2016 event will take place at Camp Crooked Creek. YLS should be attended by youth in the rank of 2nd Class or above and be newly elected leaders, or expected to become leaders within their troop. The training emphasizes YOUTH leadership of a troop, the Patrol Method, youth leadership positions and duties, basic problem solving and other principles of youth leading youth. Class size is limited to 30 Scouts, so be sure to register early!

A chance for our younger campers to come out for a short week to see what Burnamwood is all about. Campers will experience fun activities like Capture the Flag, campfires with SMORES, Bible Study and small group time, silly camp songs, crafts, and so much more. Join the YSI naturalists and develop your investigative skills to help us solve a natural mystery! Learn how to utilize your senses and then employ the tools of a scientist to delve more deeply into the mysteries of the world around us. Look for clues that animals leave behind and see what you can discover. Conduct tests on water and soil and learn how to use magnification tools to examine small evidence and to see things that hide from the naked eye. LITTLE SLUGGERS BASEBALL CAMP - Adams Park
Put me in coach...Im ready to play! This camp will focus on baseball fundamentals and techniques from hitting, fielding, and throwing to base running and more. Camp will be conducted rain or shine. Parents will be provided with information on how to handle rain days on the first day of camp. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend campers use sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30.
