More than toys, LEGO building blocks are a doorway to mathematics, science and technology. They also are a blast to play with! Students in this camp will explore creative options with blocks, then work with FIRST LEGO League Jr. simple machine kits to explore key scientific models like levers, pulleys and gears. By the end, they will be on their way to FLL Jr. participation in the upcoming competition season, or just have enjoyed great hands‐on opportunities to learn some basic engineering. Camp Cordova-Week 8 Morning Extended Hours - Hagan Community Park
Extended Morning Hours: 7-9 AM For children enrolled in Camp Cordova, Morning Extended hours allows for campers to start their day a little earlier. Parents can head to work while campers have morning games, playground time or just socializing. AGE CATEGORY Youth

Week 5 Western Horse Camp - Rose Lake Youth Camp
This new specialty camp offers horse safety, grooming, saddling and western style riding. Campers will learn basic riding instruction, how to take care of their horse and will learn riding skills in the arena along with wooded trail rides. Science in the City Camp, Session II - Francis W Parker
Science in the City Camp provides students with a full week to explore a science topic alongside passionate faculty. Science in the City courses will activate campers imaginations as they are encouraged to invent, engage and explore. Using Chicago as a resource, campers will connect science activities with everyday life. See options for specific course offerings each week. LUNCH: Science in the City campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks each day. Refrigerated facilities are not provided. An insulated lunch box with an ice pack is recommended. Ages: 5-12 (Campers must be age 5 by the beginning of the week of camp they are registering) Location : AMLD Community Center at 11500 El Salido Pkwy, Austin, TX 78750 (All activities are on-site, AMLD CC, El Salido Park & Pool) Days & Times: Monday- Friday 7:30am-6:00pm (Earliest drop off is 7:30am, Latest pick up is 6:00pm) Registration Fees: AMLD Resident: $175 Non-Resident: $190 Full payment is due at time of registration unless a payment plan has been set up.
