Summer Teen Camp - Brevard, NC
This summer we will be going to camp on week 10. That will be August 3rd – 8th. The evangelist will be Tom Farrell. Every teen and junior is invited to join us for summer camp. Teen campers must be 12 years old by September 1, 2015 and junior campers must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2015. The cost for teen campers is $345.00, if you register before February 1st you will save $50.00 The cost for junior camp is $335.00, if you register before February 1st you will save $50.00 This year you can register online and just be sure to join your registration up with Calvary Baptist Church of New Bern.

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church is offering a Mother-Daughter Retreat for older teens, young adults, moms, and grandmothers (even in-laws). Experience moments of fun, intentional conversations, and opportunities to get to know each other as more than just "mom" and "daughter", but as women of God. Hosted by Cricket Aull and her daughters (http://jerryandcricketaull.com/). Cost is $100 per person. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Ever wanted to make a giant life-size connect four or foosball table? Well now you can! Get your hard hats on and design your own backyard board game! Your innovation is only limited by your imagination. During the week kids will be challenged to think outside the box and create other Maker projects such as animatronics, LED throwies and other cool builds! We will even have a human hungry hippo challenge! Come and use real tools such as power drills, power screw drivers, hammers and nails while having a ton of fun that will last a lifetime when you take your life-size game home! (858)964-0645

Students will be busy this week creating some practical and impressive projects. A variety of unique craft materials will be used. This class is a hands-on (no modeling) sensory experience. Residential Field Player Camp - Rice University
The residential camp for field players will focus on four principles of a complete player: physical, psychological, technical and tactical. The program will be intense, but will foster learning through a fun, competitive environment. Players begin each day with strength and agility exercises and then a technical session. After lunch, players will return to the field for our tactical session and small sided games. Each evening, competitive matches will be played, giving coaches the opportunity to observe the players understanding of the topics covered that day. Our staff will be comprised of only the top college, ODP and club coaches available. This camp is open to any and all boys and girls ages 12-18. **Please note that graduating high school seniors are now allowed to participate in summer camps where collegiate coaches are on staff.
