This summer you will learn to communicate your imaginative ideas from your brain to a computers digital brain. Through use of Scratch.mit.edu you will learn how to make interactive cartoon characters, animate short stories, and design your very own computer game. No programming experience is necessary. As told by a traveling troupe of actors led by the cunning and charming Leading Player, Pippin is the story of a young prince, heir to the throne, who is searching for his own corner of the sky. Pippin returns from university certain that he will find a fulfilling purpose in life. As encouraged by the Leading Player, Pippin dabbles in bloody battle, licentious and lusty sexual entanglements, and saavy political maneuvers, only to discover that true happiness is more complicated than he thought. With infectious tunes by Stephen Schwartz and classic choreography from Bob Fosse, Pippin is both a humorous allegory about growing up and a dark tale of the danger of false appearances and empty promises. This sports camp will feature a variety of sports and games to play throughout the week. Campers will have instruction with coaches through structured games and activities. Sports include basketball, soccer, volleyball, dodgeball, floor hockey and kickball. Snack and lunch to be provided by parents. 7736851682.0
Session 2- Advanced Residential and Extended Day Camp - University of Maryland
This camp is an all-encompassing program specifically designed for the more serious soccer player. The focus here will be to challenge each individual to transfer what they have learned in the morning skill sessions and the afternoon small group tactics into the competitive full-field evening games. You will play on the same fields that the University of Maryland Mens Soccer Team utilizes. USF July Full Day-Outdoor Soccer Training Camp + Goalkeeper Training - USF Corbett Soccer Stadium
Our full day outdoor training program is from 9am-4pm daily, Monday-Thursday, and on Friday from 9am-Noon. This program is designed to improve a players technical proficiency in all aspects of the game (dribbling, passing, receiving, chipping, and shooting). Camp includes all you can eat buffet style lunch in USFs air-conditioned dining hall on campus Monday-Thursday. Campers can choose to watch a movie or swim in the early afternoon before our last camp session of the day. Goalkeepers will also train together with one of our goalkeeper coaches a portion of the day. 813-315-6485
