Saturday June 25, 2016 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Sunday June 26, 2016 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM The Future of the Game-East Camp are designed for high level 5/6th grade boys who already have a good working knowledge of the game. This camp we take them from intermediate to high level advanced in terms of basketball IQ and skills taught. These camps help us identify special talents or future Camp Right Ways and International Middle School Combine (IMSC). Though these camps are not invite only we do actively recruit identified players nationally and warn against this being a 5/6 th graders first organized basketball experience because it is so advanced and intense. • Each Camp Participant Will Receive Camp Memento • A meal served to Players around 4:30pm on Saturday Only • Education Sessions by Knowledgeable Guest Speakers • Team and Individual Evaluation various Evaluation Services • 8 Stations with Two (2) Coaches Per Station • Staff of Former Professional and College Players • 5 Competitive Games • Evaluation Services *YOUR PARTICIPANT CONFIRMATION IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED NO REFUNDS - Refunds will be a credit to a future JLE camp/clinic of the Players age group. Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, KS. It is about 2 - 2.5 hours away from Kansas City. Transportation will be provided, Insha'Allah. (Please see details below.) WHO MAY ATTEND THE CAMP? Young youth boys and girls ages 10-18 only. WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE CAMP? The cost is $120 per child by July 20th midnight. After July 20th, the cost will go up to $140/per child. Kid's Yoga Summer Camp: Week 2 - Indianapolis, IN
More than ever before, kids face an abundance of pressures and stress. Mindfulness practices, such as yoga, meditation and breathwork, can give children the tools they need to navigate their life in a way that is true and authentic to them. During this special week of yoga camp, we will explore the many gifts that yoga has to give. Children will participate in activities that empower and center them, foster a strong sense of self, and connect them to the greater community. These ativities include, but are not limited to: Poses to empower, strengthen and bring balance Meditations and breathing practices to calm the body, mind and spirit Principles to guide healthy interactions w/ themselves and the world around them All exploration will take place in a playful, safe environment where each child can find their unique voice. Summer Camp @ La Pintoresca Group C (11-12) - City of Pasadena
This is a 6 week camp that will run from June 27-August 5 from 8-6 pm. (Excluding 4th of July) This traditional camp is high-quality, fun and affordable. Activities include arts and crafts, physical fitness games and challenges, dance, visits to the onsite library at La Pintoresca Park and swimming. Campers play basketball, soccer, volleyball and softball. Instruction is also offered in golf and tennis. Campers are escorted to Robinson Park Recreation Centers swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Staff go into the water with the campers and certified lifeguards are always present. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week. Trips are an additional charge and are scheduled for once a week. This camp is a good fit for active campers who like sports and group activities. The ratio of staff to campers is 1 to 10. Campers are grouped by age, and lunch and a snack are provided. Camp culminates in the annual War Games in which Washington Park Camp and La Pintoresca Park Camps compete in a series of challenges to determine an annual camp champion.
