We’re looking forward to another successful Bazaar this fall! If you missed out on our annual Fall/Christmas Bazaar last year, you certainly won’t want to miss this year! A fun filled day of shopping with local crafters and vendors to support Royal Family Kids Camp of Princeton, WV which is a camp for abused, neglected, and at risk children of Southern WV. (More information on our organization can be found on our Facebook page) Table Fees are $25.00 per table and each vendor/crafter will need to provide 1 item to donate for the silent auction. Table fees and silent auction proceeds go to the camp. – Should you need a larger space please message us and we will accommodate you with a fee to best fit the space needed. Youth Development Summer Camp Car and Truck Show - Concord, NC
The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office, Youth and Development Division, will be hosting a Car & Truck Show on Saturday, April 16, 2016 with all the proceeds going to benefit the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office Youth Development Summer Camp. The Youth Development Summer Camp provides At Risk Youth in Cabarrus County with a week-long camp experience. This year, we will be expanding our summer camp experience to include three, 1 week sessions that will impact over 120 At Risk Youth in Cabarrus County. During a typical week of summer camp, At Risk Youth interact with police officers in a positive learning environment. Some of the camp activities include bowling, fishing, mini golf, swimming, along with trips to the zoo and local movie theaters to name a few. Interlaced within these activities are structured lessons which teach about the dangers of bullying, internet safety, gun safety, peer pressure, and drug abuse. In today’s society, now more than ever, we need positive role models for our youth. The School Resource Officers of the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office are effective, positive, motivational, role models for these At Risk Youth. PLEASE COME OUT ON APRIL 16TH AND SUPPORT THIS WORTHY CAUSE.

What is it about wax that appeals to our senses of touch, taste, sight and smell? Beeswax. Paraﬃn. Soy wax. Gel wax. In this camp you will learn how to work with wax as a creative medium that is as versatile as clay or metal. You will also explore how wax is made and how the very diﬀerent chemical and physical properties inﬂuence what it is best used for! Campers will create their own candles, practice wax resist techniques and will even learn the age-old craft of encaustic painting (using melted wax as paint).
