Junior Academy - Memorial Stadium
Our Junior Academy sessions offer top quality instruction to take your game to the next level. We will work on the technical side of your game at game speed and under game pressure through exercises and competitions that will help improve first touch, receiving and playing the ball with different surfaces of your foot, passing and shooting accuracy, service over distance, defensive positioning, heading, finishing, and MORE! We will also build on your tactical awareness of the game and your understanding of runs off the ball, defensive organization and communication, along with how to deal with numbers up vs. numbers down situations. Hang with the Bears on and off the field and learn what it takes to be a Division I college soccer player. Residential campers reside in Unit 3 Residence Halls in the center of the UC Berkeley Campus. All campers dine in the state-of-the-art Crossroads Dining Center. Where: William Kozyra Alumni Field About: Players attending NDP soccer camp will be challenged to take their game to a higher level. Players can expect competitive mind-body workouts that will help them enhance technical skills, learn new strategies, problem-solve within the flow of play, and improve conditioning. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, soccer shoes, soccer socks, shin guards, any other necessary soccer equipment, towel and water bottle. Please note our new cancellation policy. This awesome day camp runs from 9 am until 4 pm. This session is best suited for riders who are proficient (at minimum) at the walk and posting trot. We will work on building upon riding basics, jumping, and horse care. Campers will be presenting a drill team performance at the end of camp, and we will even go on a trail ride a in DuPont Forest on Friday, August 5th! This camp is open to ages 10-16. Riders must take at least one lesson at Winding Creek to be evaluated for camp due to the overnight trip and trail ride components. If your camper is looking for a fun, intense horse experience this Summer, this two-week camp is perfect! 828-337-2250
