First event at our new site. Enjoy many heating buildings bunk beds, and the story of rebuilding a whole new town.

Pre-teen Improv Summer Camp (Session 1) - Norfolk, VA
This camp is open to children ages 7 to 12. Students will explore the key elements of both long and short form improvisation. The children will play numerous improv games which will serve to develop and enhance their public-speaking, social, and team-building skills. This camp will be conducted in a non-judgmental environment where the students will build confidence, make friends, and most importantly… have fun. Snacks will be provided on a daily basis and there will be a pizza-party for lunch on Friday. The camp concludes on Saturday with all students performing in a graduation show on the stage of the Push Comedy Theater. Each student will receive a Push Comedy Theater T-shirt and be eligible to perform in the 5th Annual Norfolk Comedy Festival in late September 2016. We will have 3 sessions throughout the summer. Session1: July 11th - 15th, 9:30am to noon Session 2: August 1st - 5th, 9:30 to noon Session 3: August 22nd - 26th, 9:30 to noon These are all beginner level sessions, no experience is necessary. Tution is $200 for new students (includes a t-shirt), $190 for returning students.

Just Cruising Equestrian Center Summer Camp Week 1 - Kingdom City, MO
Send your child to our day camps for a great learning opportunity with experienced and dedicated staff, amazing horses, and lots of hands-on crafts and activities! Students will help with care of the horses (feeding, watering, pasture turnout, stall cleaning, etc.) and learn about horse anatomy, colors, breeds, conformation, and tack. The last day of camp includes a mini horse show for parents to come watch what their kids have been learning throughout the week. All levels of riders are welcome, even if students have never ridden before. The cost of the summer camp is $350. A $100 deposit is required to reserve a spot. Camp runs from 8:00 am to 4 pm. Join us for clay and art camp at El Marino Park and enjoy an exciting and creative experience. Chemistry Concoctions - Ages 12-15 - Goleta Presbyterian Church
Price includes $25 lab fee. Campers spend the week conducting more than 25 fascinating and fun chemistry experiments. Emphasis is on safety, chemistry history, proper use of chemistry lab equipment, and an introductory understanding of chemical symbols and reactions. This camp is a great way to prepare for high school and even college chemistry. Singing for Musical Theatre – Ensemble Performance - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
No class on Feb. 14. This course is designed for singers at any level (grades 2nd - 9th). Students will learn the basics of vocal technique for proper singing, including voice placement and production, breathing, and phrasing. Students will receive guidance in finding their voice type and category. They will also work on presenting songs – learning how to make a song come alive by not just singing it, but interpreting and performing it. This semesters in-class concentration will be on musical theatre chorus/ensemble numbers. Students will work on singing together, and will be taught not just melodies, but also how to sing harmonies and various vocal parts. (An ability to sing harmonies and to sing with others is an essential part of musical theatre performance.) Some of the songs will also include basic movement/staging, and the music and movement that is learned will be presented/ performed in a musical revue format. Students will perform on the LTA stage in the Spring Showcase on April 1st and 2nd!
