This is our HALF DAY option for Young Scientist. This stimulating camp offers an incredible collection of projects and experiments that will amuse and amaze your little scientist! By being involved with several hands-on activities your child will explore the basic scientific ideas that play a role in everyday life. Campers will also learn how the scientific method helps give us the answers to our many questions. Well be very busy in this camp while exploring projects and experiments in topics such as chemistry, physics, engineering, biology, and MORE! This camp is perfect for the most curios little scientists, ages 4 and 5. Sample Projects: Glowing firefly, Seashell necklace, Slime Creation, Water Bottle Rocketry. Our pre-k half day camps are 9am-1pm with pre camp options available as well! Please pack a peanut-free snack, bag lunch and refreshment for your child. This was the first time our daughter was going away for the summer and we were understandable cautious but optimistic. Doing the research on Brewster before signing up helped because there were so many positive reviews. I'm happy to report they lived up to those reviews in so many ways. 5th-8th Grade Summer Basketball Camp - Kittery Community Center
This camp is aimed at the more experienced player looking to improve on his/her skills. This camp will be instructed by Traips Varsity boys coach Jeremy Paul, and varsity girls coach Scott Blake. Those who attend will enjoy learning the fundamentals of shooting, ball handling, rebounding, passing, defense, and team play. In addition you will have some fun and challenging competitions, a basketball camp t-shirt, a continuing basketball workout schedule for when the camp is over, and excitement. Please bring a lunch each day. The price of this camp is $130 for the first child and $200 for a family, and includes a T-shirt. This camp takes place at the Kittery Community Center. Awesome Artist Campers will explore every medium, create art and be inspired by artists new and old, the masters and the contemporary. If you learn from the best, you too can become an Awesome Artist! Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475
