A scaled down version of the popular Tons-O-Fun camp with a focus on games, sports, arts & crafts, swimming, & camper choice based activities. Experience new thrills with theme days, special events & new activities exclusive to the Post Camp program! With limited enrollment your child will get lots of attention from staff and is a great way to gear up or wind down from our traditional camp program. Post Camp week is run by our Tons-O-Fun camp staff and all policies and procedures of the regular season apply. The program offers a longer day without an additional extended care fee. Camp Greenwell - Week 9 - The Greenwell Foundation
Ages 6-12 by June 20, 2016 [ages 6 (who have completed kindergarten) –12 by first day of camp session]. Camp Greenwell is everything nature and adventure with opportunities to kayak, hike, craft, fish, do archery, play and discover. Mid-week, campers will take a wagon ride over to the Manor House area where they can build forts with bamboo, explore the gardens, play water games and capture the flag, visit the Barn and participate in our Nature Time program. Daily free time allows the campers to let their imagination and interests drive their play while in the outdoors. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week there is a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory of the week at camp. Camp Greenwell is offered all eight weeks of our summer camp program. Both AM and PM Extended care and Drop-In Extended Care is available. 03rd 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 5 (Five) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cooler days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each... 865-376-9312
