Teen campers will explore and define themselves as artists, learn how to talk about art, give and receive constructive critiques, and create their own portfolio.

June 13-16 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm each day. **REGISTRATION CLOSES JUNE 6TH. Final two days to register. ** Students will be taught the Healthy Hands Cooking program. Our classes will focus on healthy recipes for snacks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additional content will include kitchen safety skills, nutrition games, fun fitness activities, and more. Students will leave with the skills needed to work confidentially in the kitchen. This program is held for 3 hours a day over 4 days. Cost is $150 and includes a cookbook/workbook. Camp is limited to 10 students.

Riverside Retreat, formerly the South Florida United Methodist Camp, was renamed in 2006 for its location on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. Our nearly 150 acres are dotted with open meadows and grassy corridors surrounded by a lush forest of pines, cypress, palms, live oaks and other native species. The varied habitat provides beauty and the opportunity for exploration and appreciation of creation, as noted in our motto.

This option is for rising Kindergarten through 6th graders and is geared toward beginner and intermediate players who want to develop their lacrosse skills in a fun and relaxed camp setting. Beyond teaching the basic skills and strategies of the sport, the camp day features: arts and crafts, team challenges, water games and other activities. Come learn first hand from some of the best clinicians in the world. Students will learn the integration of cutting edge approaches to injury prevention, rehabilitation, and athletic performance. Located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, see firsthand how advanced technologies positively impact injury recovery and training. Recommended for high school students interested in sports medicine or a career in athletic training. Students should have experience in a sports medicine program, have attended the basic camp, or have attended the 2015 camp. Have a digger or a rock hound in the house? Then Young Paleontologist may solve your problems. Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are very much alive during this week of camp. Special emphasis will be placed on observation, inference, data collection and just plain fun as our young scientists learn about a variety of dinosaurs and their habitats. Rocks, minerals and fossils are studied and hands may get dirty in these hands-on activities. This is Geology 101! 919-847-7625
