Love Move Breathe and PlaYoga at Ambassadors of Light/Agame have teamed up to offer a 4-day summer yoga and improvisation camp THIS JULY!! The 16:15 Youth Basketball Camp @ Trinity Church is BACK! Entering into the 4th year, with over 150 campers last year, we expect it to get huge this year!! Here are the dates and details. How Much? FREE When is it? June 20-23, 6-8 p.m. each evening Where is it? Trinity Church (outdoors venues) 415 N. Mill St, Stanton MI 48888 What is the camp about? The camp is a faith based camp teaching campers basketball skills and about Jesus Christ. This year's theme is "GOD's TEAM". What does each night look like? Each evening, 2nd-6th grade campers will spend time rotating between 8 different skill set stations. K-1st grade campers have their own special court with age appropriate skills and crafts. MCC Kid Camp - Alliance, OH
Kids ages 7 to 11 (by 9/1/15) are invited to participate in 1, 2, or 3 activities for 3 days in July. They can sign up for Basketball from 9:30-11:30, Soccer from 12:30-2:30, Art from 3:00-5:00, or a combination of 2 or 3 of these activities. Costs are as follows: $10 per kid for 1 activity, $20 per kid for 2 activities, or $25 for ALL 3, which will include lunch and a snack each day. In the event that your household has more than 2 kids participating, cost is a MAX of $25 per family for 1 Activity, $50 MAX for 2 activities, and $60 MAX for ALL 3 Activities. EVERY KID WHO PARTICIPATES, REGARDLESS OF HOW MANY ACTIVITIES, WILL RECEIVE AN EVENT SHIRT TO BE WORN EACH DAY. Signups for this event begin May 3rd and run through June 14th. Discrete mathematics is a class designed to enhance problem solving and logical thinking. Possible topics are general problem solving and algorithms, recurrence relations, mathematical induction, voting and apportionment, consumer and financial math, graph theory, and number theory. The course explores problem-solving techniques that are not studied in any other courses at Ensworth, so it can accompany both regular and Advanced Placement courses. 2016 BAA Junior - Ripley Grier Studios
BAA Junior is a program designed specifically for young performers ages 6-10 who show great promise in musical theatre but are not yet old enough to attend our other workshops and intensives. Students will study voice, acting, and dance in a small group setting where they will develop their fundamental performance skills and explore their creativity. Classes will include theatre games, improvisation, vocal technique, song/scene interpretation, and learning original Broadway choreography from shows like Annie, Billy Elliot and Mary Poppins! The instructors for this program specialize in working with young children and every class will be an energetic, positive environment where the students can make friends and have fun! BAA Junior is also a fantastic opportunity for students to get introduced to Broadway Artists Alliance and prepare themselves for our other workshops and intensives. All students will attend a Broadway show, receive a private coaching from a member of our Senior Staff, and participate in a final Industry Showcase for Casting Directors, Agents and Managers who specialize in working with young performers! 212-561-9429
