Be A Civil War Soldier: KID’S CAMP - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 9-12 years old? On Saturday 24th, in connection with National Public Lands Day, Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 15 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is September 17th. Kid's Cooking Camp - Lake Charles, LA
We are so exited to announce our kids cooking camp! This is a three day camp to be held inside the beautiful Majestic Hall at Walnut Grove. The Camp will include: Day 1 Homemade muffins, strawberry, blueberry, bananas, or chocolate chip Making Pizza from scratch Day 2 Southwest Egg Rolls Quesadillas Day 3 Spring Rolls Stir Fried Noodles with Veggies Each Day will include - snack preparation 10-11 - snack time 11-11:30 - actvity break 11:30 - 12:30 - entree preparation 12:30 - 1:30 - eating time 1:30 - 2:00 Camp fee is $225 per child ages 6-12 We are concerned with the safety of the children atteneding our camp. With this in mind we will not be using knives, all cuttting preparation will be done ahead of time. We will have an adult leader to help oversee each of our cooking stations and we are maxing attendance at 10 children to enusre their safety. We specialize in cattering to those with food allergies. Teen Writing Camp for Girls - State College, PA
Join us as we write creatively about life as it really is through each of our individual lenses. We will play with poetry, prose and dialogue - working independently and in small groups and/or partners. We will explore the arboretum, campus and downtown locations for nature, art and culture inspired writing. Camp Recycle - NOLA Spaces
In this camp your young artist will learn to reduce, reuse, repurpose and recycle. Campers will be given the opportunity to develop their artistic skills and engage with their peers while making original artwork with everyday objects. In theater new spins will be put on old tales. The dance and music classes will build on already acquired skills and turn them into new choreographed works and compositions. MATH SCHOLARS II: INTRODUCTION TO ALGEBRA - Memphis University School

As the children explore the animal kingdom, they will have a unique, hands-on experience enhanced by art, games and various projects related to these creatures. Kids will be up and about moving too! HS Robotics with Arduino Week 3 - Merrill Engineering Building
A week-long camp for entering 10th, 11th, and 12th graders; or 9th graders who have taken a middle school camp. Campers will build and program machines that react to the world and to people using embedded computers, sensors, and motors based on the Arduino family of processors. This is a fun, engaging camp that doesnt need any prior experience, but uses "real" gear in creative ways. The Arduino system is used in the University of Utah undergraduate Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science courses, so this is a great way to see what goes on in those majors. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Some interest or aptitude in computers and/or building things is expected for this camp. Lunch is provided. 801-585-1726
