Not all camps are co-ed. There are some single-gender camps available in addition to traditional co-ed programs.
Single-gender camps are great if parents want their children to focus on empowerment and independence. Many youth today are distracted by the other gender, and this is a chance to give kids a break so that they learn how to be friends with their peers. Many of these programs work with nearby groups so that the campers can get off camp and interact with a variety of people.

This annual event was created by Leroy Johnson former defensive back for the "University of Southern Mississippi" Our staff is made up of former NFL and Division I athletes. Our mission is to help each participant develop the proper skill set in order to achieve the desired results and to be the best athlete possible. In addition to the on field exercises there will classes held throughout the day that will focus on sportsmanship as well as being coachable. There are many things we have to survive in this world. Failures, conflicts, temptations, the list goes on. Though surviving the pressures and conflicts in our lives can be a tough and painful process, we can take comfort in the fact that like a piece of coal, we are being turned into precious diamonds for God's purpose. And in a culture that increasingly pushes Christians to the outskirts, it can be like being stranded on an island. But since the begining us Christians have been called to be set apart, "in the world but not of the world", and we know that through the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, that we can more than just meely survive, but we can strive! Join us this year in taking a stand on the principles and truths that the Word of God gives us, stepping up to live out our calling and purpose and learning how to transition from being Survivors to becomeing more than conquerors!! The Republican Women of Rock Island County are sponsoring a fun trivia night for the benifit of the Jacaranda Youth Camp, a basketball camp that will be taking place later this year in Nairobi, Kenya! More information can be found at this link. www.gofundme.com/nairobibasketball The evenet will be held at MGT New Hope in Moline, 2305 7th Ave at 6:30 on Saturday, June 11th. Please come out and support not only the team going to the Jacaranda Community (http://jacarandacommunity.com/) but also the RWRICo as we get the priveledge of blessing another community! A seat is $10 per person or commit to a whole table for $65 (if booked ahead)! Please RSVP to garuntee a spot. We have 14 tables available. There will be a bake sale table as well! Prep volleyball players will work with Head Coach and Team Indiana Co-Owner Brian Murray to learn player positional skill sets and game strategies as they build in-game intelligence needed to gain an edge in any game. Prep players will also have the opportunity to work on individual drills and practice those skills in challenging scrimmages. Coach Murray is a three-time state championship coach during his 13 years at Brebeuf with over 20 years of team and individual training experience. 3175247050.0

Outside Exploits March 18 – April 29, 2015 (No Class 4/1 or 4/22) Climbing rocks, building sand castles, and erecting stick structures are some of kids favorite activities to do outside. This session of Science Explorers takes advantage of its location to experience the rich science behind kids play. We will certainly take advantage of the weather events to stomp in puddles (if it rains), draw shadows, and make kites. Here is a great time for kids to experience the abundant opportunities to dig deeper into what amuses them naturally. 650-340-7590
