She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2010 and received her Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Practical Theology at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. She now serves as the Mission Immersion Director for Raleigh Youth Mission, and through her ministry with youth she works to name creative gifts and profound truths in their lives, most often through music, art, prayer and laughter. What is a Presbytery Youth Retreat? -A time for middle school youth (grades 6-8) from across our Presbytery to gather for the experience of Christian fellowship. -An opportunity to play, study, worship, sing and serve in a beautiful setting with their peers. -An opportunity for youth to see the Church of Jesus Christ beyond the local congregation and take that experience home. -A chance for the First Presbyterian youth group to grow closer through a shared experience. 2017 SP Youth Camp - Tyler, TX
For our 2017 youth camping trip we will be going to Tyler tx , we will have two or three shelters to stay in. This year's theme will be Deep waters , and deeply rooted. There will be different rules this year and alot more fun , God is preparing something amazing for us this year. I'll have the packs ready to go by the beginning of February. Volunteers are welcome please inform me by May 10th if you wish to help out. All donations are welcome at anytime , or come to one of our fundraiser to pitch in. We will need prayers so please be in prayer about the youth and what God has in store for us!!

Safety Camp - Blue Heron Elementary School
Lino Lakes Public Safety Department, Centennial Lakes Police Department, Centennial Fire District, Lexington Fire Department, and Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department present the Annual Safety Camp! Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of serious injury and/or death of children. This camp is taught by those who respond to those types of incidents each day in an effort to reduce the numbers of injuries that occur each year. The camp includes sessions on bike safety, fire safety, 911 procedure, water safety, personal safety, electrical safety, outdoor safety and first aid - all in an informative and fun atmosphere. The knowledge campers learn will allow them to make the right decisions when faced with unsafe conditions. Safety Camp is intended for children entering 4th grade the fall of 2016. Pre-registration is required and limited to the first 150 participants Priority will be given to residents residing in Lino Lakes, Circle Pines, Lexington, and Centerville until June 17. Want to make your own comic books? Using LEGO sets, webcams, visualizer software and your imagination you will create a story and then bring it to life in a comic book you craft.
