Improve your skills while having a great camp experience. We will teach the fundamental skills of basketball and provide self-help drills. Each camper will be given the tools to improve on their own. Through this quality instruction, all campers will improve and gain self-confidence in themselves. Finally, campers will be given the opportunity to meet new friends and have fun! Bring a peanut free bag lunch daily, swim gear and water bottle. Group will swim at Reynolds Pool during the last hour of camp. What Items Are Important to Bring to Summer Camp?
As always, the mission of the camp dictates what campers should bring. However, no matter the focus of the program, there are some universal essentials to bring. Packing is hard. Having a general packing list makes it easier for parents and children to handle this process. First, one should always bring bedding, a pillow, and any comfort items like a stuffed animal. Additionally, youth should bring three types of shoes: flip flops for the shower and beach, sneakers for running around, and boots if there is hiking. Awakening is a Catholic retreat put on by young adults for young adults. This overnight retreat runs from Friday night through Sunday afternoon ending with Sunday Mass. The retreat is designed to awaken your faith, bring you fellowship, and to strengthen your relationship with God during your young adult life. Children learn literacy skills through songs, poems, literacy centers, small and whole group activities, and read-alouds. Children engage in play and activities that are related to alphabet knowledge, phonological awareness, print knowledge, comprehension, reading and writing. The core of our literacy program was created at the Bank Street College of Education in New York. Meets twice per week. Adventure awaits at Junior Explorer Camp - Lincoln Square! We welcome you to a half-day, drop-off summer camp for 3 to 5 year olds. Explore music, art, nature, sports, geography and food from around the globe. Build your childs confidence, independence and Pre K readiness as they discover, create and explore all summer long. Lacey Camp (Outdoor) - EXTENDED Session 3 - 2016 - City of Hanford
Grades: K - 12th Morning drop off at Lacey Park; afternoon pick up at the Hanford Teen Center. This weeks theme "Super Hero Week" Parents, is your child ready to have fun and make new friends this summer? If yes, then bring your child to the coolest hot spot in town. The Lacey Park Day Camp is full of fun activities for children grades K thru 6th. This is an outdoor recreation camp. Campers will learn about the benefits of being physically active; as well as, having a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors. Each week campers will engage in various group games, art projects, participate in a talent show and weekly field trips to the Hanford Teen Center, Hanford Plunge and the local Library. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. A weekly food menu will be provided at request. If your child has a particular taste, you may consider bringing a sack lunch for your child. Animation- Middle School - Eureka Workshop
This class combines storytelling and Computer Science. Campers learn the basics of green-screen photography and stop-motion animation as they bring to life the environments and characters that are created in a digital short film!
