My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. Little Linguists Spanish Camp - Norwood Local Park
Are we in Mexico? You would think you were with all the fun Mexican crafts, games, sports and music. Create your own mask, pinata, sombrero, maracas and much more. All in Spanish! Vamos Amigos! Bring your bathing suit each day for water fun! On Wednesday, Campers walk to the Bethesda pool adjacent to the park. Campers must pass a swimming test or stay in the shallow end. There will be a $25 material fee due the first day. Bring a bagged lunch. Our day camp activities include Horseback Riding, Games on Horseback, Horsemanship Grooming, saddling, Vaulting and more! Beginners are welcome! Horse day camp is for beginner riders as well as advanced riders. Lunch is included. What to wear: long pants, light color t-shirt and boots. We provide riding helmets. What to bring: Stretchable pants, sunscreen, swim socks, carrots (for the horses), snacks, drinks, and a bottle of water (frozen is best). Please put the camper?s names on all items.
