The Ideal School After School, Second Semester - The IDEAL School
The IDEAL School and Kids Creative are partnering again to offer a third year of after school enrichment courses and supervised play activities for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, Monday through Friday. Kids Creative has been running after school programs throughout New York City for 16 years and is excited to continue the growing relationship with The IDEAL School, its students, families, and community. Our Fall 2015 Class Offerings Every afternoon, we will offer at least one class as well as free play. MARTIAL ARTS (Monday – Grades K-5) Ever wanted to be a ninja? Build strength, confidence and agility in our martial arts class. This class combines traditional martial arts moves with fun and exciting games. A camp for the true adventure who wants a new and different camp experience with a mix of traditional! Participants will enjoy daily swim lessons, free swim, arts & crafts, nature study and special events. Sports Camp week 4- Soccer - Orchard Park Recreation
During the first hour of soccer camp, children will focus on the basic skills of soccer such as dribbling, passing, shooting and goal tending , as well as agility and foot-eye coordination. Goal tending will only be taught to those children who volunteer for this position. During the second hour, children will be able to eat a healthy snack and then participate in a series of cooperative games that will enhance their capabilities of being a good teammate and showing good sportsmanship. The third hour of soccer camp will be spent discussing the various rules of soccer such as hand ball, pushing and tripping, and playing modified games of soccer. 09th 2016 Camp Buckaroo FALL BREAK 3 Day Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 3 (Three) Day Buckaroo Fall Break Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and to care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts and Horse Husbandry including some Horse Health and Welfare. Plus, making friends or renewing relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest once for no additional charge. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cool or cold days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each day. Kids Camp Original - Wk. 4 (HD) - F. H. Hammond Elementary School
Kids Camp is one of thee most popular camps around the area! Have your child be a part of the camp that has so many great things to offer. This camp will keep your child(ren) of all ages entertained and occupied with games, arts and crafts, sports, themed days/weeks, Munster Community Pool visits, field trips and more! Each week a parent letter and itinerary will be compiled for you to take which will list all activities/trips for that week. These will be available on the sign-in table each week. All camp activities will be held between 9AM-4PM. Parents are able to drop their child(ren) off between 7AM-9AM and pick them up between 4PM-6PM. All scheduled activities and trips will take place during the 9AM-4PM time frame. Early drop-off/pick-up will be designated for free time, smaller organized games and/or board games. Full-day campers should pack a lunch, 2 snacks and plenty of water. Half-day campers should pack a snack and plenty of water. All campers should have their own sunscreen and wear gym shoes. A camp t-shirt will be given out each field trip day to campers who do not have one. Campers are required to wear this shirt each field...
