Kid Creations & Bay Area Pilates are teaming up for another 3-hour Movement & Art Camp. Kids will have FUN learning the benefits of pilates in a choreographed-for-kids pilates class for one hour and then will be escorted down the sidewalk to Kid Creations for two hours of arts and crafts. Snacks will be provided. Workshops can be attended separately. The cost is $45 for both. To come to Kid Creations alone from 1:00-3:00pm, the cost is $30. Join Jewish community teens from Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Ithaca for an amazing weekend of Low Ropes, Sports, Leadership Training programs, and a huge Saturday Night Carnival! Open to all 8th-12th graders in the Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, and Ithaca Jewish communities. $18 registration fee will be donated to a charitable organization chosen by teen participants. Abandon all ye puny stick figures! For these campers will learn to draw virtually EVERYTHING in their imagination by connecting lines, curves and shapes in logical patterns of construction. We will take our inspiration from the dynamic and colorful world of the accomplished American artist, Edward R. Emberley. But wait, there is so much more than just drawing! This project-based learning course is designed to vigorously enrich each childs natural tendency to illustrate and create. Students will make an unlimited supply of exciting drawing ideas in a personal journal as they develop a colorful story-mural or a graphic novelette.
