EVOLVE HOCKEY ELITE MINI CAMP Elite Mini-Camp will include three mornings of high intensity hockey for those hockey players that are dedicated and can handle the fast pace of professional hockey training! Each day players will engage in 2.5 hours of on ice intense hockey sessions! Players will also work on their speed, strength and agility at The Forum. Youth Curator Camp - Martinsville, VA
Youth Curator Camp Virginia Museum of Natural History Saturday, December 19 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Youth Curator Camp is an opportunity for children ages 6 to 12 to learn about the museum while participating in fun, hands-on activities and programs. Parents and guardians – this is a great opportunity for your children to experience a day of scientific adventure and discovery while you finish up any last-minute holiday shopping! Campers will meet the museum’s scientists and learn about real museum collections. There will be demonstrations of the casting and molding program, with children having the opportunity to create, paint and take home their very own fossil cast! In addition to these unique activities, campers will enjoy pizza and a movie in the museum’s Education Center. Beginning June 5, 2015, Elite Stride will be holding a 6-week strength and conditioning training camp and also skilled position training camp. Age group 6-12. The ending date for this event is July 17. Our goal is to help your children get the most out of their summer vacation and provide them with an outlet to stay active as well as reinforce a sense of leadership and discipline. The Setter/Hitter Camp is for athletes entering grades 6-12. This camp is ideal for athletes who have established themselves as a setter or hitter and want to improve on one of these skills. Young Builder (FULL DAY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is our FULL DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Campers receive lots of suggestions for ideas but are encouraged to use their own creativity and imagination. Stories and games are also incorporated into this camp, perfect for our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. Our pre-k camps have pre and post camp options available as well!
