It is important to keep in mind that this job in its simplest form is servant leadership. It is tiring, sometimes trying, and our focus as staff should not be on ourselves but on our campers. As staff of Cathedral Ridge summer camps, we are also representatives of the Episcopal Church in Colorado, and are working in a ministry that many people believe to be incredibly important in our Diocese. While the job of a camp counselor is not for the weary, it can be a very rewarding and enlightening experience.
