Folsom Teen Bible Boot Camp 2016 - Folsom, CA
The church of Christ in Folsom, California will be hosting a free Bible study for teenagers and college students during the weekend of April 15-17, 2016. We usually hold this annual Bible study on the third weekend in April (except when Easter falls on that weekend, and then another April weekend is selected). During this weekend, participants will attend a Friday night singing and a Bible study on Saturday morning and afternoon. The age group for visitors at this event is current high school students (9th to 12th grades) and college-aged young people. Participants are encouraged to come Friday night and stay through Sunday morning services at the Folsom church of Christ. Members of the church are willing to open their homes on Friday and Saturday for lodging, and overnight arrangements will be organized by grade level and gender. If you would like to attend, please complete the online registration form by Saturday, April 9th at: http://folsom.cierecloud.com/forum/about/ or on the Folsom congregation’s website. Youth Summer Circus Camp! - Austin, TX
We are so excited to be launching our brand new youth program with 2 exciting new offerings, Elemental Circus Camp and Sunday open level youth classes. Sign up for one or both weeks of Elemental Circus Camp this summer. Youth of ages 6-16 will undergo a circus adventure including age and skill appropriate lessons in performance, aerial arts, tumbling, balance and coordination, juggling, dance and magic. Youth will be grouped by age, and do not need to have any previous circus experience. With the exception of students advanced in aerial, gymnastics, or dance training, who will have the opportunity to submit an audition video to be grouped in an advanced mixed age group covering material more appropriate to their level. Students in Game Design will have the opportunity to create a video game using Kodu Game Lab! Our theme is "Sea Life". Your child will utilize the sea creatures, objects and "bots" in order to save the underwater environment from toxic dredge and ooze. Students will learn to program an underwater submarine to clean up the ocean floor and defend our sea life. We will build the seafloor with the terrain tools, add sealife and objectives. Students will learn how to program scoreboards and timers in order to tell their story and program enemy bots.
