The all skills camp covers all aspects of the game of volleyball with an emphasis on fundamentals. The techniques and skills taught in this camp are designed to provide a strong foundation that allows players to develop into high level athletes as they continue to play. All skills will be covered including passing, setting, hitting, defense, blocking, serving as well as offensive and defensive systems. Every registration requires full payment. A $50 fee will be retained on all cancellations for any reason to cover credit card fees and administrative expenses. The remaining amount will be credited back to ones account if paid by credit card. If paid by check, the University will cut a check back to the original payee. For prompt processing, refund requests should be made prior to the start of camp. A pro-rated fee system will be in effect for those campers only attending partial days of camp. All CU Camps are open to any and all only limited by number of campers, age and gender. *Limit 1 discount per household 3034925669.0

Teenagers (ages 13-18) of all dance levels are invited to register for our first ever Dance Camp July 6-10, 2015. Students will enjoy skill-based instruction in tap, musical theater, and hip hop from professional dance teachers as they do their morning rotations. After a time of worship, Bible study, and small group time, each day will end with a full company production number rehearsal. The camp will take place at Groove Nation West with three different mirrored studio instruction rooms for optimum learning, and the performance on the Mago Hunt stage at the University of Portland campus. Chef Travis Levi (a survivor himself) will be leading the teens through everything from the importance of kitchen etiquette to making healthy choices. There are few things more pleasurable about fall than giving in to every whim to bake and cook. Who: Any young adult between the ages of 13-18yrs who has been diagnosed with cancer. Level 1 - James Mastraeini - The Loft - iO West
In this class you are introduced to all the fundamental skills of improvising, while improving your ability to listen and explore the power of building off of other peoples ideas. Level 1 is a survey of the entire program, exposing you to the elements of scene work and the various skills involved in creating well-acted, comedic improvisation. Passing Criteria: Students must demonstrate that their listening has improved over the course of the term and that they are willing to build off of their partners ideas, in addition to having gained some proficiency with the technical aspects of actually doing so on stage. Attendance at 5 of 7 of your scheduled classes, regardless of make-ups. (323) 962-7560

UKSA (United Kingdom Soccer Association) is a class designed for children who are ready for more of a challenge. The curriculum is designed to build fundamental skills such as balance, coordination and ball skills. Our fast-paced, fun exposure to the most popular sport in the world opens up your kids minds. Classes focus on foot-eye coordination, balance, dribbling, shooting, passing and the basic fundamentals of soccer. Our classes will also introduce the concepts of teamwork and cooperation. Our main goal is to provide a fun and comfortable environment for your child to learn. To ensure players develop a love for the beautiful game, we make sure it is run in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Practices are geared towards individual skill and coordination development. Join us for Spring Break this year. Last year this trip cancelled do to no snow, we have no excuse this year not to get out and explore in the snow!!!! We will stay at a cabin near Stevens Pass, WA. During the day we will fill our time with snow related activities including: Snow Shoeing, XC Skiing, Sledding, Basic Mountaineering skills and Snow Play. Will provide the great, healthy meals that you have come to expect from Blue Compass Camps and the social interactions with your childs peers that have lead to many long-term friendships. Snow Camp will be a fun, safe and activity filled 5days, while they are out of school for the Mid-Winter Break. 971-221-6441

Improvisation will help them gain confidence, think on their feet, and work as an ensemble to tell a story. This class is perfect for the shy student who needs to be comfortable in front of the class or the class clown who has some wacky characters up their sleeves.
