This was the first time our daughter was going away for the summer and we were understandable cautious but optimistic. Doing the research on Brewster before signing up helped because there were so many positive reviews. I'm happy to report they lived up to those reviews in so many ways. I was especially impressed at how the counselors made it seem like every kid was a priority. This makes me wish I could go to summer camp! We'll be back next year!... Read More...

Fishing for Families - Ned Smith Center for Nature & Art
Join us for a great day of aquatic adventures at the Ned Smith Center! Families are invited to share the joy of fishing with your up-and-coming anglers, while learning about the complex environment of the Wiconisco Creek. Ample time will be dedicated to casting instruction and practice, as well as fishing along the creek. Equipment is provided. All participants must wear closed-toe, hard soled shoes that can get wet. Each child will receive a spin cast reel and rod at the conclusion of the day. Thanks to our program partners Bass Pro Shops, Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and Doc Fritchey Chapter of Trout Unlimited, we are able to offer this camp at a reduced fee. Date: Saturday, June 4th 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Age: 8 – 17 with an adult Fee: $20/student; parents are welcome, and encouraged to attend this camp free of charge. 717-692-3699

Ballet Camp - Cinderella - Germantown Friends School
Join the Cinderella Ballet Camp for a week filled with the joys of dance and music! Participants will read about and then recreate the magic of the Fairy Godmother, the pumpkin coach, and the glass slipper before journeying with Cinderella to the castle ball. Each day, Ballet Camp will begin with classical ballet instruction followed by activities such as ballet mime, performance games, and craft projects that will serve as props for the ballet. On the last day of camp, there will be a short recital, during which campers will perform a dance from Cinderella for parents and friends. Teaching our Cinderella Ballet Camp will be Fallon Gannon, who not only is a professional dancer with Ballet Fleming and Dance DelBello, but also is a very experienced dance instructor who has extensive experience teaching preschool and Kindergarten dancers in the Philadelphia area. Ballet Camp is a morning-only camp and participants may wish to stay for the all-new Junior Explorers/Explorers Day Camp or for the Computer Camp (for Kindergartners) during the afternoon session. Morning: Robo Roller Derby The speed of a race, the competition of a battle, and the pressure of the clock… its a Robo-Roller Derby rumble! Lego robots take on a new set of hurdles as they duke it out on the track. Race the stop-watch and each other to be the first to complete all your laps without being torn apart in the challenge. Foul play is fair game in Robo-Roller Derby. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Male and female swimmers (ages 8-18) of any ability level are welcome. It is highly recommended, but not required, that swimmers have competitive experience prior to attending. Camp space is available on a first come – first serve basis. A $150 non-refundable deposit for each session attended (applicable to the camp fee) and registration form or on-line registration record is required. An information packet is e-mailed with required forms upon completion of registration.
