This was the first time our daughter was going away for the summer and we were understandable cautious but optimistic. Doing the research on Brewster before signing up helped because there were so many positive reviews. I'm happy to report they lived up to those reviews in so many ways. I was especially impressed at how the counselors made it seem like every kid was a priority. This makes me wish I could go to summer camp! We'll be back next year!... Read More...

Week 8: Mini Resident Camp - Camp Tanadoona
Mini-Resident Camp brings the Resident Camp experience to campers new to overnight camp or with a busy schedule. Campers enjoy all that camp has to offer and stay in cabins with other mini-resident campers. 612-235-7284
Advanced Artist Cooking Camp - Summer 2016 - The Big Table Cooking Company
This camp is designed for our older Advanced Artists who are looking for an art class to challenge their skill level and help them build a personal style. We will explore new and exciting art mediums taught by our expert art teachers. Afternoons will be full of artistic wonder while the mornings will be filled with culinary delights crafted by our campers under the guidance of culinary expert Sharon Masciocco. Girls Dance - Sanford Day Camp
Michele Buglio will be the instructor for our Dance program. Michele has been our Dance teacher for a number of years. She has her studio called Dance HDC at the Shoppes at Louviers. Micheles enthusiasm and energy should result in an exciting camp for your child. Dancers will be taught the basics in leaps and turns, ballet, theatre, modern, hip-hop, and Zumba. ----------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. All dancers will be transported in the morning to a professional dance studio for their dance instruction. ----------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Specialty dance shoes are optional, but encouraged. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp. Drama Club/Shrek the Musical JR - 2nd Session - Annandale Village Gym
Children through young adults with HFA/Aspergers Syndrome have the opportunity to explore the art of improv, drama, and music with their peers. Drama Club is directed by a drama professional and music therapist who have extensive experience working with children and adults on the spectrum.This group provides participants with the opportunity to improve their communication skills within a small group or in front of a larger audience. Research has shown that children who participate in Drama/Acting activities improve their ability to react and respond to imaginary situations and feelings and eventually generalize these skills into their daily living. Acting can improve a childs self-confidence, communication and relatedness with their peers. This years production is Shrek the Musical Jr. 678-720-2177
