4-H Teen Summit - Session 3 - Nancy, KY
Kentucky 4-H Teen Summit is held annually at the Kentucky 4-H Educational Center in Jabez, KY. The conference is for youth who are currently enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th grades. This program is designed to develop leadership, citizenship and communication skills in youth. While at the conference, all participants get to learn in fun and educational workshops taught by members of the Kentucky 4-H State Teen Council. The conference also includes motivational speakers that get young people excited about leadership. The cost to attend is $115 which includes meals, lodging, and transportation. Get an early start on your camp day with low-key activities to ease in to the morning. Early Riser?s Camp is open to youth enrolled in Discovery Camp, Campapalooza I and Campapalooza II that would like to extend their camp experience. No camp on July 4th. On-line registration for camps is not available. Refund requests made prior to the start date of a program will be cheerfully given less a 5% refund fee. Specialized sports program utilizing biometric exercises that will promote the development of gross motor skills, coordination and balance. Fantastic 6 HERO Sports for 6 weeks! Whether youve never taken voice lessons before or you have a few years of experience, Voice Camp is right for you. Students will work in small groups to develop their technique - improving their breathing, range and confidence. Through solos, duets and large ensemble pieces, students will study a variety of styles and genres including jazz, pop, musical theater and classical singing while continuing to expand their music reading skills. Each student will be expected to come to camp with a prepared, memorized vocal solo of any genre. The camp will conclude with a final concert for family and friends.
