It's that time of year again!This is the first in our series of Teen Camp service projects for those of you who may need financial assistance in order to go to camp. You must complete this project if you're going to need a half or full scholarship. Don't know if you need a scholarship? Well, even if you have an inkling that you might need one, you should be there. But this project is also open to all, so if you just want to help out, join us! The project will involve cleaning out and sprucing up the public planters along Wentworth Avenue and Cermak Road in Chinatown. The project will begin at 9 AM and end around 1 PM. Basketball Camp: Girls K-5th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Lower These camps are designed for girls who want to improve their skills and understanding of the game. Fundamental instruction, individual development and contests, and team competition are all part of the camp experience. We will provide the opportunity for players to develop their basketball skills while offering an atmosphere that fosters cooperative learning, enthusiasm, and fun. Players at all skill levels will get better and enjoy themselves. Coach Lower is in his 2nd year as Collegiates Head High School Girls Basketball Coach. The Defensive Specialist camp will be a two‐part camp that will focus on the defensive portion of the game as well as the serve receive aspect of the game. There will be a progression of each skill from the building of your platform to the actual movement of hitting the floor. Whether theyre an experienced sewer or crafter and enjoy working alongside others OR are interested in learning how to do any/all of these things, this is the class for them.
