Boys and girls will have a ton of fun in our Kid-on-the-Go Sewing Camp! They will learn to sew several fun items to carry all their necessities when they are out-and-about this Spring Break! Cost is $175, all materials included. Ages 8 & up. We have sewing machines and tools, but students are welcome to bring their own. Class takes place Tuesday-Friday, March 13-18 from 1-3 p.m. Projects: Drawstring backpack, zipper pouch, pocket wallet/change purse, and a sunglass case or tissue pack cover. We will stay at Gilmore Camp, in Malibu Creek State Park. This camp is a part of the Salvation's Army Mt. Crags & Gilmore Camp & Conference Center in Calabasas http://campmtcrags.com. Located in the heart of Malibu Canyon, this camp provides life changing experiences with various activities on site in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains. We are of course also just a short car ride away from the world famous Malibu beaches! We are 1 hr North of LAX, 2.5hr from San Diego, 5.5 hr drive from SF or Sacramento and 7.5 hrs from Reno. 2016 Michigan Girls Golf Camp - Universtiy of Michigan Golf Course
Campers will work with the same instructor for the entire camp which allows the student to have consistent communication with their designated coach. -V1 Golf Swing Analysis – Each camper will receive a personalized swing video at the end of the camp which reviews the specific instruction they received from their coach. -Seminars including: NCAA Rules/Collegiate Golf, Nutrition, Golf Psychology, Rules of Golf. -On-Course experience where the camper will receive instruction from management skills, green reading, pre-shot routine, and mental toughness. -Instruction that focuses on the long term development in all facets of the game. -Exposure to the University of Michigan golf teams (collegiate players), the beautiful UM campus, and the coaching staff. -Campers will interact with some members of the U of M Womens Golf Team who will be present to provide instruction and insight into the daily lives of a college athlete. 734-615-2934
