ZUMBA Kids Camp - Wasilla, AK
A 6-week ZUMBA Kids Camp with Nikki and Bronwen starts Saturday January 16 at The Alaska Club in Wasilla!!! It's the ultimate kids fitness event. Saturdays Jan 16 - Feb 20 10:30-11:30am $45 members / $60 non-members Ages 5-12 years Register at The Alaska Club Be active and jam out with kid-friendly Zumba® music and choreography. It's not just like the grown up version...we break down the steps and add games and other fun activities. We want to help your kids consider fitness as a natural part of their lives by making it FUN. Capoeira Kid's Summer Camp - South Jordan, UT
Capoeira Kids Camp Kids! Join Capoeira Utah this July for fun, fitness, and a fantastic cultural experience at Capoeira Kids Camp. Capoeira is a unique Brazilian martial art that combines kicks and dodges with acrobatics and dance like movements all performed to live music! Camp takes place from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday, July 5 & 7, and July 12 & 14. Each day we'll do special capoeira training in levels for both beginners and experienced students as well as: Portuguese language Singing and Playing Instruments Acrobatics training Crafts (make your own maculele costume and sticks, wooden machete, and/or feathered samba headress) Traditional dances: Samba, maculele, a capoeira choreography and more! Camp is open to kids ages 6-11 with or without previous experience in capoeira. Cost: Full camp is $150 per child ($25 discount for students currently enrolled at Capoeira Utah.), and $90 for half camp, $50 non-refundable deposit due July 1st. Balance due prior to start of camp. Adventure Camp - Week 3 (4 Days Only) - The Greenwell Foundation
Adventure Camp (ages 8-12 by first day of camp session). This week, Camp runs for 4 days only (Tuesday to Friday) Why is Adventure Camp different? Campers are provided the opportunity to explore further into the park with longer hikes, shelter building, and learning how to build a campfire – and then Smores! Part of Adventure Camp is letting the group direct what activities they would like to do by coming up with new and exciting adventures. The staff has the freedom to be creative when making these fun adventures come to life. Campers will have an opportunity to kayak twice during the week, including a visit to the Hollywood Oyster Company. They will create and run their own unique obstacle course, go fishing and crabbing from the pier, and build their own boats out of recycled materials and test to see if they are sea-worthy. Mid-week, campers will hike to the Manor House area where they can build forts with bamboo, explore the gardens, play water games and capture the flag, visit the Barn and participate in our Nature Time program.
