Your son or daughter will be challenged to improve fitness & function using ropes, bands, body weight, some weights, rowing, running and more. Aaronson and Margaret Zufall-Roberts, directors Session I: July 24-29, 2016 Session II: July 31 – August 5, 2016 Ages 12 to 23| commuter and residential options available | performance sample video required for placement purposes only Now in its 12th year, the American String Teachers Association of New Jersey (ASTA/NJ) Chamber Music Institute provides participants with the opportunity to perform in small ensembles under the guidance of top teaching artists. Students participate in daily rehearsals, master classes, elective courses, special presentations, and a variety of social activities. Each session features a concert and master class with a professional visiting artist ensemble and concludes with a performance featuring student ensembles. ASTA/NJ CMI is open for participation to students playing to string instruments, woodwinds, classical guitar and piano. Over the course of 4 days, the PreK-Grade students will learn essential swimming skills through fun and games. Combining a games-led approach with excellence in coaching and instruction, each student will learn the core aquatic skills needed to be a competent swimmer. In addition to working on the four competitive strokes, swimmers will learn numerous other skills, which will give them the ability to participate in a range of aquatic sports including synchronized swimming and water polo.
