Just because you're on vacation doesn't mean you have to stop your morning and evening prayers! Actually, our daughter is the one who reminded us of that and it was just one of the wonderful lessons she brought home from her time at Park River. Aside from the bible study which she was really engaged with, her favorite thing was the cast iron cooking lessons. Not sure where we can build a fire around the apartment but our girl is eager to cook for us!... Read More...

Craft Camp: Xtreme Minecraft - Community Activities Building
Its time to take your craft to the next level! Well learn the basics of coding mods using Java and Eclipse IDE, and dive deep into video production and game design concepts. LEGO Mindstorm Robotics Camp - Sport Center
This hands-on camp reveals the rewards and excitement of LEGO robotics. Working with a partner, your child will learn about mechanical design, gear ratios and computer programming using the LEGO Mindstorms robotics system. Campers will also be creating their own video game. Participants will create background settings, characters, animated movements and sound effects. Participants will be introduced to computer programming using easy to learn tools and increase their knowledge of robotics technology while enjoying time with their peers. Students will receive a USB drive with the game design software and games they made at the conclusion of camp. AGE CATEGORY Youth (6yr+) LOCATION SC Meeting Room at Sport Center
Baseball-Greatest Game Baseball Camp (Grades 3-8) - WWP High School North
Greatest Game Baseball Camp ( Gr ade 3 - 8) Provides quality instruction in all areas of offense and defense, while promoting fun and appreciation for baseball. Campers will develop their hitting, bunting, throwing, catching, and base-running skills. Camp will also incorporate activities and game situations to emphasize technical/mental aspects. Prizes and awards will be presented daily. Staff: Millstone River teachers Michael Jones, Evan Malakates as well as WW-P HS North Alumni baseball players Pre and post camp care is available at Millstone River school through WWP Community Education for an additional fee on their website. To register, please click on "WWP Community Education" on the right side of this page under "Extra Details." Baseball camp staff members will escort children to and from pre/post care. Campers must provide their own glove. Bats and cleats are helpful but optional. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp is only open to children entering grades 3 - 8. CU Baseball School Grades 6-8 (Day Camp ) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. The day camp will begin at 8:30am the rest of the week. Each day we will have fundamental and individual skill work in the mornings. Typical afternoons will focus on team defensive work and situational baseball and generally will end around 3:30PM at which time you may leave for home.
