Summer Camp Reunion Weekend - Paige, TX
We just love seeing our campers and their families return to the village in February and March to enjoy Sherwood Forest Faire, and obviously a great part of that is when campers encounter each other! This year, for the first time, we would like to have an official "Reunion" for our Youth Campers and Adult Campers alike to help facilitate that. Both events (which will be separate, because we don't want the Adult Campers teaching the younger ones bad habits) will take place during weekend #2, Feb 20-21. Mark your calendar! When more details are available, they will be posted here.

Overnight event where participates set the 2016 camp theme! The event is for youth in 6th grade on up.
Hanford Falcons Youth (K-6) Wrestling Camp - Richland, WA
Youth Wrestling Camp Put on by Hanford High School. There will be local college wrestlers that will be clinicians throughout the camp. We will also be working on bringing in some guest from around the PNW that have done a great deal in and for the sport of wrestling. This will be a fundamental camp with position specific drills as well. Athletes will have an opportunity to learn one position or multiple positions. We will teach basic tackling, blocking and ball handling techniques at the start of the clinic. Remember college and pro atheltes practice fundamentals every day! We will also teach some basic speed and agility drills. All form tackling will be done on practice dummies. There is no live tackling of other players and no equipment is needed. Our staff will consist of college coaches and current or former college players. Do not be fooled the staff is the best in the youth coaching business! The coaches will be teaching the most up to date football techniques out there. We hope to have the former NFL players back this year!!!

Little Stars (July 25) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This camp is a special introduction to acting that gives each child a chance to shine! Whether your child loves to do "shows" in your living room, or you wish they felt more comfortable expressing themselves, in this camp every voice is heard. We use creative movement and fun acting games that boost confidence and help build the body-mind connection. With a camper to caring counselor ratio of 4:1, there is a lot of individual attention. Confidence grows as children share their ideas and impressions, working collaboratively on their skit. Each week there are improv games and fun activities that help with concentration and observation skills. During the week campers sing and tell some jokes onstage, build a shoe box set, and paint the scenery for the show. Each day campers practice and prepare for their skit on Friday. We laugh a lot! INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTERS-CULLEN has been teaching childrens classes and camps at the Little Theatre for seven years. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild specializing in radio and television voiceovers, and has been a television news anchor and reporter.
