The Prep Soccer program invites all incoming 9th-12th graders to its summer high school soccer camp. Staffed by Prep coaches, the camp will offer students the opportunity to develop skills, build friendships, and help establish the tone for the program for the upcoming year. By training with Prep players already experienced in the Prep program, participants can learn from Prep athletes as well as the coaches. Instructor: Rosanne Stutts The technical aspects of black-and-white photography will be emphasized so that students can work more creatively with their camera and in the darkroom. Camera operations, use of equipment such as lenses, tripod, and light meter, and correct film selection are among the topics to be covered. Learn basic density and contrast controls for both negatives and prints, along with proper film development. Basic darkroom procedures, safety, printmaking techniques, burning and dodging, toning, archival processing and print presentation will also be discussed. Please bring your own 35-mm camera with manual controls.
