My child gets homesick easily. Is camp not right for him / her?
Everyone gets homesick from time to time, but if your child seems especially shy, anxious, or clingy, you may fear that he or she isn't ready for an overnight trip. However, camp gives many kids their first taste of independence in a safe and supervised environment, which teaches them that living away from Mom and Dad isn't as scary as it seems.
Camp counselors are highly trained in dealing with homesickness, and they know how to comfort, encourage, and distract campers with fun games. By the end of the week, you may find that your nervous child doesn't want to leave!

Permission Form: http://bit.ly/sjfallretreat2016permission Information Sheet: http://bit.ly/sjfallretreat2016info Cost: $65 ($35 if requesting sponsorship) Location: Lifeteen Covecrest in Tiger, Georgia Due Date: Forms & Payment due Tuesday, September 6. The due date is strict and all those turned in late will be placed on a wait list. Forms must be turned in with at least partial payment to reserve your spot. Arrival/Pickup Times: Meet directly at Covecrest at 7pm on Friday, September 23. The retreat will end Sunday at Covecrest at 11:00am. Please have your parent pick you up from Covecrest at this time. Packing List: sleeping bag or sheets & blanket, pillow, towel, toiletries, changes of clothes to include Mass clothes, pajamas, Bible, journal, Rosary, water bottle, snack to share, warm clothes, tennis shoes. No spandex permitted in co-ed areas.

The 8th installment of the famous "B Pat Rager" will be a high intensity weekend long camping event full of live music, mayhem, and a hangover that will last well into your work week. Expect the unexpected, our largest event did over 1.2k people. You have the freedom to bring what you want to your camping area (Sterio, bbq grill, pong table) As far as smashing on some food goes - our friend Craig Jackson will be bringing back his tasty BBQ cart There will be a NEW security team on the premises. ANY unwanted physical contact will NOT be tolerated at all. Using the Youth Theatre season as inspiration, students will explore painting, drawing and various art media. They will enjoy developing authentic self-expression while exploring story lines, history and production themes with class artwork exhibited during each show. Deaf Film Camp for Girls (Ages 12-16) - Camp Mark 7
Camp Mark Seven offers many development and leadership activities for the deaf youth and children programs. The program is designed to provide a sense of caring for one other, honesty, respect as well as enhancing each campers self confidence, self esteem, social skills, teamwork, initiative, work and play with other campers and camp staff. With this goal, campers will have fun with diverse camp activities. Program activities: Swimming and tubing. Paddle a canoe on the chosen rivers/lakes and camp out under the stars. Low ropes course. Diverse outdoor games. Arts & crafts. Hike different mountains. Evening Bonfires. Shopping in Old Forge and Inlet.
