High Seas Adventure Camp Ahoy mateys! Summer fun is on the horizon at an exciting new camp for aspiring buccaneers. Swab the deck and shiver your timbers as you band together with fellow pirates and create your very own treasure hunts, build ships and learn what it be like to be a scurvy pirate on the high seas. No French experience is necessary! We welcome all language levels in this program, from children who have never spoken French to those who are fluent. Full Day Science: Space Quest - Villa Academy
Our intergalactic adventure includes searching deep space for an Earth-like planet, innovating an outer-space habitat, and conducting space experiments. 3rd - 5th grade girls: Kids with Wings- Writing & Reading Camp - Saint Marys School
A reading and writing camp designed for 3rd – 5th grade girls. In a guided reading setting the girls will read and discuss childrens literature that focuses on building girls self-esteem. The curriculum includes a daily writing activity that will focus on grade appropriate writing skills and a creative art activity related to each book we read. We will also spend time outside playing games that will build positive friendship skills. Each day will include a snack, lunch and pool time. DeAnna Huffines graduated from Saint Marys in 1983 from high school and 1985 from College. She then attended Meredith College where she majored in education. Chicago Outlaws Boys Lacrosse Camp - Olympic Park
Learn fundamental techniques and skills necessary to be a successful lacrosse player by the Chicago Outlaws Lacrosse. Basic skills will be emphasized and range from ground balls, passing and throwing to stick skills, one-on-one skills and team format. Chicago Outlaws has a limited amount of equipment available for a $25 rental fee at the camp. (Equipment is adult sizes). All Participants will get a reversible pinny.
