Volleyball: Lower School Team Skills - Main Campus
The Harding Team Skills Volleyball Camp for 3rd to 5th graders builds on the skills acquired during the June Individual Skills Camp (serving, passing, setting, attacking). Fast-paced team drills and games focused on enhancing court awareness, better understanding of game flow, anticipation, readiness, transitioning between offense and defense. Lower school girls continue developing ball control and playing the game correctly (three touches "pass-set-hit" vs. volleyball "tennis"). Daily team recognition. Camp ends with a tournament, which is always a blast. Join us for a fun week with friends, classmates and teammates, playing the game we love. Preparation for 3rd-5th grade fall volleyball league (October-December). This wild and western day camp features horses, horseback ridind, and ranch chores. A Western scavenger hunt will incorporate following directions, math and science clues to find hidden bounty. All campers will ride. Basic Horsemanship and safety will be taught. Campfire cooking skills will be included. Healthy snacks and lunch provided. Tracey Bartholomew is once again offering a high-level College ID Camps held at Columbia University in the City of New York. College ID camps are open to girls entering grades 9 - 12. This College ID Camp is a collegiate showcase and competitive training program for players who plan to play at the college level. Staffed by the Columbia Womens Soccer program, and various other high academic programs ranging from Div 1 to Div 3, this camp is multi-faceted in that it gives top players: 1) the opportunity to be seen by top college coaches; 2) a better understanding of the college soccer environment ; and, 3) the skills they need to become even better players, taught by some of the very best coaches of the game. 845-548-7621
