The University of West Florida soccer coaches own and manage The International Centers of Excellence soccer programs, which are geared both toward the serious and recreational player. We have two objectives for every participant; improve and have fun. The focus will be on developing the individuals ability and team concepts appropriate for each players individual needs. Each player will learn and refine techniques that will enable them to pursue their game at the next level. We employ a series of activities and situational play that foster learning and creative thinking on the soccer field. We also provide a healthy amount of small-sided competition daily. Java, Flipped! An Online Programming Course - NuMinds [Online Course]
How Does it Work? Each Friday of the course (see dates below) a new module is sent to students with a self-paced lesson and weekly challenge. Then, on the following Monday, in a "live chat" from 6 - 7 pm, the teacher will answer questions, provide feedback on that weeks challenge, and guide students through the joys of Java programming. Each module will contain multiple labs comprised of problems and a longer app at the end. Each individual lab will introduce a new concept / programming construct. Thats a few hours of available content per week! This hands-on, lab-based approach to learning programming reflects how programmers really learn--by doing, and at their own pace. What Technology Do I Need? Just a computer! The initial welcome packet you receive prior to the course start date will include instructions on how to install an IDE (the software youll use to write your programs) and how to connect to the Monday live interactions.
