LATEST CAMPS NEWS: One Week Half-Blood - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 9-15) will experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Camp Half-Blood Unites with Camp Jupiter are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered. Many of the questions at the end of the application are best answered in consultation with your child: so that they express their interests, their first choices of cabin (demigod or fandom), etc. Tuition covers all meals, housing, instruction, guest lectures, ImagineSTEM blog, mentoring, supervision, materials, and recreation fees. JDRF has partnered together with Camp Soaring Eagle to offer a FREE CAMP to Type One Diabetic children ages 8-15 to come experience the healing power of laughter! CSE offers two camper weekends dedicated to T1D kids in a session for Teens and a session for Youth. Youth T1D camp is for kids 8-12 and Teen T1D Camp is for kids 13-15. The camper session runs from Friday-Sunday. CSE provides the campers with opportunity to learn about diabetes management and encourages independent health care. Campers with diabetes feel normal because they see all their peers with the same challenging diagnosis. CSE provides a balanced diet and menu with all carb counts for all meals. The camp will also focus on the realities that we face in the world such as bullying, interaction with law enforcement, individual life skills abilities. With the right type of foundation being provided our youth will have insurmountable success and the desire to pursue secondary and post secondary education.
