This camp is designed to work with girls who are entering or already competing at the Varsity level. Emphasis on strengthening skills and fundamentals of basketball is key. 110% effort will be requested of all campers as they challenge one another with friendly competitions and games. Individual skill drills include: shooting, dribbling, rebounding, passing, defense and offensive moves. Team/Group skill drills include: team offense/defense, moving without the ball, rebounding/blocking out. Campers will be challenged each day to compete at their highest level while incorporating friendly competition. This is the HALF DAY option for Young Builder. Campers ages 4-5 will want to join us to learn exciting construction techniques using LEGO® bricks. Little Builder allows campers to take their first steps into science and engineering. By using the themes of construction and travel, campers learn about machines, the tools used to work on machines, and their functions. Our material packs include a wide range of bricks and special elements in various shapes, sizes, and colors that are ideal for stimulating childrens creative and imaginative skills. Camp counselors will introduce tasks each day in building vehicles, planes, buildings, towns and transportation systems as we work in groups to build a LEGO city! Vendor: Tiny Chefs Chopped! Never have food challenge reality shows been so popular and Chopped! is a favorite here at Tiny and Gourmet Chefs! We like it so much we decided to base a whole week long camp on the concept. Our version has the added twist of focusing on different cuisines every day of camp. So, each day the Tiny and Gourmet Chef campers will be presented with a basket with 3 or 4 ingredients, which reflect these different cuisines—French, Italian, Mexican, Asian and All-American.
