Campers will go on a journey throughout a variety of American cultures and civilizations, learning about their daily lives, legends and stories, and art forms. Visits to MAMs newly installed Native American collection will be included to provide a closer look and inspiration. Travel from the prehistoric to the present in this whimsical tour throughout time. Who: 12 yrs old or in 7th grade up to 12th Grade What: A week at the most awesome camp you'll ever attend. When: June 22-26 Where: Teen Extreme, Pensacola Christian College, Pensacola, FL Why: Because a week with friends, having fun, eating awesome food, playing awesome games, growing closer to God is what camp is all about! Summer camp at Teen Extreme will be a safe, fun, and encouraging time for all 7th - 12th graders. It is a good bonding experience where teenagers are out of their comfort zone and God draws them together in unity through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, godly music, team games, and good memories. Youth Winter Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place will be doing a FREE Youth Winter Camp. Grades 6th thru 12th. This camp will be focusing on Community Service, Discipleship, We will be having youth grades 6 to 12 stay overnight for three nights. We will be doing community service hours on Friday and Saturday. We will be taking the youth to serve senior citizens in the surrounding area. The youth will be making gifts to bring to the elderly. The youth will also be disciples through a program through D-Now Studies called "The Pause" this discipleship course is four sessions and it will equip youth to learn how to seek God in a never ending multitasking environment. They will each receive a student book and t-shirt. We will be having a New Years Eve party for them. Live band and student mentors will be with them during the camp. Weather permitting we will be shoveling snow and going to sledding hills to pass out free hot cocoa and the gospel message. Possibly do "laundry Love" where we go into a local laundry mat and pay for everyones laundry to be done and more!! Join Blake girls varsity lacrosse coach Linda Hokr and her staff for the fastest game on two feet. This camp will help develop fundamental skills to grow and master the sport — all while having a whole lot of fun. Each day focuses on a specific skill set, beginning with a series of drills and concluding with a game-like setting during which campers put those skills to use. Former and current high school varsity lacrosse players are present to ensure that each camper receives individual attention throughout the week. All levels are welcome; beginners are encouraged. Players are grouped based on age and experience.
