Explore! Youth Ceramics Camp - Detroit, MI
Moms, Dads and Grandparents! Are you looking for an exciting and educational experience for your child during the summer months? Our summer camps are designed with age-appropriate projects to accommodate children age 6-12. Your child will explore several classic children's books through basic clay hand building techniques and mixed media arts projects. Students will create uniquely fired ceramic pieces and other crafts that explore classic and contemporary children's stories. Teens, you are invited to join us the Winter Teen Camp! This year’s theme is “authentic” and we will be focusing on how to live authentically as children of our Creator. Our culture is talking a lot about what it means to be “true”, “real”, and “you”. What does it mean to really live as were made to live? How can we embrace God’s vision for our lives and fight against the pull to just go with the flow? Pre-register for a 3:45pm audition time for Peninsula Youth Theatres CENTERSTAGE production of "SEUSSICAL." Registration guarantees you a spot in the 3:45pm audition group. You must be age 8-18 or have prior executive director approval. Children must be 8 by 3/17/16 to participate. PLEASE NOTE: TO KEEP YOUR SPOT you must arrive by 3:15pm with your paperwork completed for check in and measurements.
