Teen Adventure Weekend - Elmdale, KS

My Tutor and More OPEN FULL DAY FOR KISD EMPLOYEES at The Park @ MTM Teacher Work Day Monday, 1/25/16 My Tutor and More will offer full day child care services to KISD Employees at our new location, The Park @ MTM ~ KILLEEN'S NEW INDOOR PLAYGROUND AND FAMILY FUN CENTER, 4006 E. Stan Schlueter Loop! Teacher Work Day ~ Full day services available, 7am-6pm, $30/student, pizza lunch provided or children may bring their own lunch, snacks provided, NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES or toys, however, children may bring books. Children will be engaged in fun activities, crafts, games, bouncy houses, indoor basketball, movie time, gaming systems, pool tables and more! Be sure to wear or bring SOCKS! Teachers/employees MUST visit The Park @ MTM prior to the date to complete necessary documents (repeat customers do not need new paperwork) and make payment. Rutgers 2016 Design Intensive - Civic Square Building
Rutgers 2016 Design Intensive Website: This program seeks to develop the graphic design skills of motivated high school artists. Created and supervised by Mason Gross faculty, the curriculum focuses on core principles of design while introducing relevant software. Participants will become familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign while exploring visual problems and producing work suitable for a college admissions portfolio. The Design Intensive includes studio work, technical demonstrations, group critiques, and a field trip to New York City to visit working design studios. Primary emphasis is placed on building visual awareness, and on making software serve the designers vision. Coerver Coaching Soccer Skills Camp - Olympic Park
Players are taught aspects of the game in a fast-paced, exciting and challenging environment using the Coerver Method, the worldӳ leading soccer teaching method: Ball Mastery: Exercises where each player must work alone with a ball, High repetitions using both feet. Receiving and Passing: Exercises to improve a players first touch, encourage and teach accurate creative passing. Moves (1v1): Exercises and games that teach game winning individual moves that can create space in packed defenses. Speed: Exercises and games that improve acceleration, running with and without the ball and changes of pace. Finishing: Exercises and games that teach technique and encourage instinctive play.Group Attack: Exercises and games that improve small-group combination play with an emphasis on fast break attacks. Summer Sessions - Action Sports Camps 2016 #4 - Killington Mountain School
KMS Summer Sessions Actions Sports Camps will feature Freeski, Freestyle and Snowboard camps. These camps are aimed to provide a fun, safe and exciting learning environment for athletes to progress their skiing and riding regardless of age, gender or ability. Athletes will be coached by some of the best coaches in the industry alongside various guest pros and industry leaders. Athletes looking to take their skiing to the next level will be trained at the KMS Action Center which features multiple Olympic Trampolines, and skate facilities as well as Dry Slope facilities which includes various Dry Rails and Airbag Jump Site. Summer Sessions Actions Sports Camps will feature overnight and day camps which will utilize KMSs dorm, nutrition center, gym and new media lab. A typical day would include various activities such as trampolining, skiing, hiking, swimming, skating, mountain biking and more. ET-FP-U13-U18 Boys and Girls - Meredith College Turf Field
Player Evaluation Events are held to determine readiness/acceptance into the Elite Technique program. Elite Technique is a 40-week training program divided into four, 10-week Cycles (two, 10-week Fall programs and two, 10-week Spring programs). Fall sessions run from early August through mid-December; Spring sessions run from early January through mid-June. One training session per week for 1¼ hours per session. Cost = $185 for each 10-week Cycle (paid before the start of each 10-week cycle); players will also be required to purchase one Elite Technique training jersey for the program (~$25). You must register for the entire 40-week series – registration for individual Cycles is not an option. Players may withdraw from the program at the end of a Cycle and future Cycles will not be charged. Two levels of the RailHawks Elite Technique field-player program: Elite Technique PLATINUM: Comprised of high-level Classic players. New players must register/attend a Player Evaluation Event to determine readiness/acceptance into the ET-Platinum or ET-Gold program. Elite Technique GOLD: Elite-level supplemental training for committed players of all skill levels. Riverwalkers - Bluff Lake Nature Center
River Walkers will explore the waterfalls, creek beds, and shaded pools of the Sand Creek to investigate how all of life needs and uses water. Campers will discover how the birds, mammals, bugs, and crawfish of Bluff Lake interact with its water sources through hands-on activities, animal encounters, and expert presentations. Campers will have the chance to measure, draw, observe, and play with water as they perform water quality testing, sail boats and build their own dams. Prepare to get wet, meet some aquatic creatures, and have a blast! All campers will learn from science experts, play learning games, make projects, meet new friends, cool off in Sand Creek and have supervised exploration time.
