Our Fish ‘n Fun camps for 6-9 yr. old campers are designed to teach the basics of freshwater fishing through a series of games and activities as well as on-the-water experience. Come explore first hand several Summer Camp programs offered for preschool and elementary-aged kids by local businesses in the Grapevine, Colleyville, and Southlake areas. From cooking class to sports and art to education, plan an awesome summer your kids won't forget! Hosted by the GCS Mom's League, a non-profit organization aiming to support moms and their families through friendship, resources, and service. Children are welcome to accompany thier parent to the event. As normal with GCSML General Meetings, childcare is available but only offered to members.

Capoeira Kid's Summer Camp - South Jordan, UT
Capoeira Kids Camp Kids! Join Capoeira Utah this July for fun, fitness, and a fantastic cultural experience at Capoeira Kids Camp. Capoeira is a unique Brazilian martial art that combines kicks and dodges with acrobatics and dance like movements all performed to live music! Camp takes place from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday, July 5 & 7, and July 12 & 14. Each day we'll do special capoeira training in levels for both beginners and experienced students as well as: Portuguese language Singing and Playing Instruments Acrobatics training Crafts (make your own maculele costume and sticks, wooden machete, and/or feathered samba headress) Traditional dances: Samba, maculele, a capoeira choreography and more! Camp is open to kids ages 6-11 with or without previous experience in capoeira. Cost: Full camp is $150 per child ($25 discount for students currently enrolled at Capoeira Utah.), and $90 for half camp, $50 non-refundable deposit due July 1st. Balance due prior to start of camp. Our staff is made of several high school and college baseball and softball players who are great at teaching their sport and who make Diamond Sports Week extremely fun.
