This class is designed to introduce and strengthen the fundamentals of voice/singing for the adult voice. Students will learn proper breathing placement and projection techniques, as well as technical and interpretive principles. In addition, students will learn to select and prepare songs for their particular voices. Limited to ages 17 and older. INSTRUCTOR BIO: BEVERLEY BENDA, a professional singer by trade, is a classical soprano with The United States Army Band Pershings Own, and Programming NCO and Script Writer for their Public Affairs Office. She has performance and teaching degrees from James Madison University, Eastern Illinois University, and The Eastman School of Music, and has appeared in a variety of musical productions including Brigadoon, Carmen, Carousel, Oklahoma!, Kismet, The Pirates of Penzance, Dialogue of the Carmelites, My Fair Lady, The Music Man, Hollywood Pinafore, Its A Grand Night for Singing, and the first revival of Call Me Mister. We are opening up our doors just for the kids this holiday...because your children should have a place they want to go and have fun with their friends! We will have Karma Kids Winter Break Camps at The Studio December 19-23 & December 26-30, 2016 from 8:15am-5:15pm. We will celebrate the upcoming holidays with crafts, games, yoga, mindful activities and more! We will get outside for scavenger hunts, build ginger bread houses and explore yummy foods in our holiday food wars contest! Weekly fee is $155 and we do offer daily drop in for $45 per day.
Kids Spring Break Yoga Camp- Monday thru Friday morning - Kansas City,
During spring break, kids classes will be held monday-friday9-1015 am. Class is $6/kid or $20/child for the week. Adult(s) are welcome to attend, but it is not required. Don't forget that there is a 9am adults class in the other room!

Students will learn basic and intermediate techniques of slab application, handbuilding, texture application, and glass fusion into clay. Whether you are a novice or an intermediate rider, grab your mountain bike and get tuned up for some riding adventures! Riders will learn tips for riding single track, trail etiquette, and riding smart. We will ride mainly at La Tierra where there is plenty of single-track and a great flow track full of whoop-de-doos and yehaws! If we get some really hot days, we will reward ourselves by heading to the Santa Fe River or Bicentennial pool to cool off before riding back to Fort Marcy. BIKE AND HELMET REQUIRED! 505-699-6230
