What I like about this camp is my kids can choose between a day camp (for ages 5-12), an overnight camp (for ages 9-13) or a specialty camp (ages 11-17). Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. Call (325-655-7321), email ([email protected]), Facebook message (TGCL Teen Republic), or drop by in person to reserve seats! Sign-ups will open November 21! This is a Teen Republic program, open only to patrons in grades 6-12. Free of charge. We will meet from 3-4:30pm in the Community Room.

Our annual summer camp for youth going into 4th grade through College Freshman in the Fall. There will be fellowship, prayer, teaching, singing, games, a climbing wall and zip-line, refreshing pool and water slide, pickup soccer, football, frisbee, basketball, and volleyball games, and a talent/no talent show - all in beautiful Southern Indiana! It will be a week filled with wonder, and one you won't soon forget - don't miss it for the World! Rock Springs 4-H Center in Junction City, KS. It is about 2 - 2.5 hours away from Kansas City. Transportation will be provided, Insha'Allah. (Please see details below.) WHO MAY ATTEND THE CAMP? Young youth boys and girls ages 10-18 only. WHAT IS THE COST TO ATTEND THE CAMP? The cost is $120 per child by July 20th midnight. After July 20th, the cost will go up to $140/per child. Registration space is limited! WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER? For the early registration discount, the deadline to register is by Friday, July 20th. After July 20th, the prices will go up to $140. In October we will resume our homeschool series by following the changing seasons and further developing our our naturalist skills. Together well seek to develop an understanding of the unique ecology of this landscape while also deepening our connection to nature, ourselves and each other. This class is held entirely outdoors in wilderness conditions (no bathrooms or permanent structure for shelter) in all but extreme weather conditions. Well stay warm by keeping active, ducking out of the wind, soaking up the sun, and treating ourselves to snacks by occasional small campfires. Proper clothing--especially layers of wool--is essential, as is an adventurous, curious spirit! 978-463-2233
