Kadesh Youth Camp - Dover Plains, NY
2nd Annual Kadesh Youth Camp Come and join our last hoorah for the summer. !! Held at CAMP BERKSHIRE in Wingdale, NY on SEPTEMBER 4-6, 2015. Our speaker is our very own PASTOR JON CLAYBURN AGE: 18+ ( under 18, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) Cost is $30 PER PERSON, which includes the stay, Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast, fun activities, and more summer memories. PAYMENT IS DUE by SEPTEMBER 1, payable to DANBURY-BETHEL SDA CHURCH. There is NO FOOD served on Friday evening, so we do encourage you to have something to eat beforehand or bring snacks to munch on. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT: tent, air mattress, sleeping bag, bug spray, etc. The facility offers an OUTDOOR POOL (included in $30 fee) so feel free to bring APPROPRIATE swim wear. Boy Scouts Troop 114 is raising funds for Summer Camp! Please stop by and grab a delicious dinner anytime between 5-8pm on Thursday, April 7th. You can come in and visit with the troop while you eat OR you can participate via the drive-thru! Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they'll put a copy of your receipt in a basket and a portion of your meal cost will be donated to our troop! That's it, SO easy! Please share this event out with everyone you know who lives in the area; everyone is welcome and invited to join! Thank you all for supporting our boys. It takes a lot to get these kids to Colorado and we truly could not do this without your help!!!
Loving Care "Kids for Kids" Campaign 5K &1 Mile Fun Run - Ottawa, OH
Come join the fun! It's a great way to be part of teaching children the importance of helping others while getting some exercise! This year’s event will be focused on helping others. Barrett Lammers, a preschool student here at Loving Care, was born with polycystic kidney disease. He had been doing well managing with this until a few months ago when an abnormal growth was found between his liver and pancreas called a choledochal cyst. This required him to have an extensive surgery and rehabilitation this spring. His prognosis is positive, however, he will need to have continued close monitoring throughout his entire life. We are planning a 5K Run, 1 Mile Fun Run and Diaper Dash with all proceeds from this event being donated to Barrett’s family to assist with medical expenses.

3rd-5th Grade Division (Machine Pitch) - KC Geiger Park
Grand Lake fall softball league is now accepting registrations forms. The league will start on August 21st and will play five weekend doubleheaders. The league is open to girls in the 3rd through 12th grades. The league will be divided into three different leagues: 3rd -5th will play in a machine pitch league, 6th – 8th graders will play in the jr. high division and 9th to 12th graders will play in the high school division. The cost is $100 for High School players and Jr. high players. The 3rd to 5th grade division is $79. The deadline to register is Aug 1st.
