Work Weekend - Holcombe, WI
Always work to do to get the camp ready for the campers. Two roofs will have steel installed on them, cleaning of the chapel and some of the cabins, yard work. We will also be switching the shop and the game room so lots of hands will be needed there. At least 9 holes of miniaturegolf will be moved to the area around the garage (soon to be game room). Food will be provided. Let us know if you will be staying overnight so some cabins will be cleaned and ready. For those staying over Saturday night there will be a chapel service on Sunday morning. Lots of hands make light work so join us for a weekend of working, fishing, fellowshipping and enjoying God’s great outdoors.

Join us for six days full of dancing, music, crafts, swimming, games, storytelling, and too much fun…at Foothill Horizons Outdoor School near Sonora, CA. For those who haven’t been before, Family Week often takes some explaining. It’s not a “kids’ camp” or a “sleepaway camp”: it’s for the entire family. We share traditional camp accommodations: several families per bunkhouse, and everyone eats community style. During the morning, kids take classes in community dance, English team dance, and art, while parents are free to come dance, play music, sing, or simply relax. After lunch, families come back together, for swimming, jamming, playing games, and a series of great classes for all. During the week of camp, a community like no other grows, culminating in a demo day when everyone shows each other what we’ve been doing. Every evening, we come together to dance. Many colleges offer a range of ways to enhance your Jewish experience - but college can also challenge some deeply held beliefs, especially with regard to Israel and international politics. This program brings 11th and 12th graders and their parents together with the experts in the field for a deeper conversation about what it means to be Jewish on campus. Camp Apollo - Rock Terrace School
Elementary school youth within the autism spectrum. Activities for campers include coloring and painting, musical games, playground fun, swimming twice a week and local field trips. Quiet time, low lighting and sensory activities will be used as a transition from ESY to camp. Depending on skill levels, campers will be divided into two groups during some activities. To be successful, must be able to follow one/two step directions, ability to manage their behavior and be able to make simple choices. Campers must exhibit ability for self care with limited assistance with changing or prompting using bathroom. Staff ratio: 1 staff/4 participants. TRANSPORTATION : If attending ESY, contact your teens school to arrange transportation to camp. For Boys and Girls grades K-6. We are very excited about our location for the Summer!! This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.The Arroyo Seco Adventure Camp offers opportunities to learn about our local, natural resources in a fun and exciting way. Now in its third year, this innovative camp pairs environmental education with traditional camp activities. Based in Brookside Park with regular activities in the lower Arroyo, this is an outdoor camp. The first week of camp focuses on origins of the Arroyo Seco and the geological events that created this amazing space. Other weeks focus on plants of the Arroyo, local animals and myths, protecting and exploring nature and survival skills. Conservation specialisits lead daily nature walks and instruct on conservation of environmental resources, native plants and local wildlife. Other activities include casting pond fly-fishing, archery, horseback riding, hiking, environmental education lessons, swimming, art and group games. Campers go on a weekly environmental themed field trip. In previous years, trips included kayaking, nature centers and local farms. Staff ratio is 1 to 10.
