This is a short class that offers lots of encouragment to kids that have an interest in sewing. Each student needs to bring a sewing machine (we have a few extra machines but need to know in advance if your planning to borrow) and an adult that can help through the class (the adult can have little to no sewing experience). We will be doing a quick sew project. Only $15.00 (includes fabric kit for project and snacks).

Advanced Libero Camp - Rice University Tudor Fieldhouse
The Advanced Libero Camp is designed for defensive specialists and liberos that have some experience and are looking to take their game to a higher level. Campers will work on the specifics of becoming a more advanced and consistent defender and serve receive passer, and will run drills designed to set them apart from their fellow competitors. Skills covered will include: Serve Receive footwork, platform angles, recovery moves, overhead digging and passing, setting the second ball, coverage, and having an all-out competitive attitude! 713-348-4795

This is an opportunity for students entering grades 9-12 to earn Student Service Learning hours and develop great leadership and supervision skills assisting campers between the ages of 4 ½ and 13. Experience working with children and an interest in visual art, drama, music or dance is preferred. CITs must be committed to attending their entire session and take part in a training to participate in the program. Please select one of three MANDATORY Training Dates when you register: Sunday, May 22nd from 2pm-5pm, Wednesday, June 1st from 5pm-8pm or Sunday, June 19th from 2pm-5pm.
