Camp Quality Arkansas is scheduled for June 12 - 17. Volunteers will arrive on Saturday, June 11. Campers will arrive on Sunday, June 12. While waiting for applications to be available, please spread the word to any potential campers or voluntunteers.
Winter Break Kid's Horse Camp! - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our Winter Break Kid's Horseback Riding Camp! For children ages 3 -18, no riding experience necessary. Kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen. What better way to finish off the winter break than by being outside with friends and siblings, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, natural horseman clinician with 35+ years experience as a professional trainer of horses and their people, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equipment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Camp is half-days, 9 AM - 12 noon. Cost is $150 fo the three-day camp; current EquQuest horsemanship program students are FREE! Call Pat Gleason at 512-965-1380 to register, and please click "Going" here. The camp is professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and create self-confidence. We stress a non-competitive environment and promotes fun above all else. KIDS LOVE IT! No need to bring a soccer ball-all equipment will be provided. Join anytime during the week (fee will be pro-rated). Sibling discount available: Register two or more siblings for SoccerTots camp and receive a $5 discount off the registration fee for the second and each subsequent child. Not for beginners! This camp is for campers who have been playing Minecraft. Minecraft™ has taken the world by storm with its block-building, digital game design that allows players to build, explore, create, collaborate, and even survive. With no set rules, you can build anything you can possibly imagine. During this 4-day adventure, campers will learn different modes of playing. They will use cool mods as they escape monsters, build amazing structures, create maps, mine the world under their feet, climb the tallest mountains, and utilize robotic turtles to manipulate the vast world around them. They will learn real coding techniques to program their turtles to accomplish tasks while working as a team with other campers to unleash their creativity! Campers take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. NO Minecraft account is needed for THIS CAMP as we have licenses ready for use.
