The Chesterfield Public Education Fund Proudly Sponsors After School Activities ____________________________________________________________________________ The CPEF is once again pleased to offer the after school activities club program for the Fall 2014 Session. This will start on September 29th and conclude on November 3rd. Each club will meet 5 times during this period. Clubs are available to students in grades 2 through 6. Please review the club descriptions to see what options are available for your child. Registration is only available online, please do not send anything via mail or email. Clubs will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis and fill up quickly! Once a session is filled it will no longer be available on the web site. Enrollment will be open September 19th @ 7pm and conclude at midnight September 23th. All clubs are $35. All payments are due upon registration. You will receive confirmation of enrollment via email. All club notifications will be sent via email. If a club is cancelled for any reason (i.e. inclement weather) there will be no make-ups. Kid Circus Camp: Thanksgiving Week - Fairhope, AL
The kids are out of school, but they need to burn off some extra energy before Thanksgiving Day. Get your grocery shopping done while your child learns to fly. HS Winter Camp - Walla Walla, WA
Get ready for Trinity Youth's 18th annual High School Winter Camp! This weekend will be filled with good food, great friends, and whole lot of fun. Our goals for this camp are: To build strong student-leader relationships To build strong peer relationships To meet students right where they are—helping them take that next step in knowing Jesus better. Oh, and there is also possibility of having a lot of fun, too! Students and leaders will be leaving from Trinity at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19th (dinner not provided). From the church, we will drive 45 minutes south to Meadowood Springs. Everyone will be staying the next two nights at the retreat center there. We will be back at Trinity by 12:00 p.m. on Sunday the 21st. The cost of camp is $105. This cost covers travel, lodging, food and fun. Camp Angel Teen Mentor Application and Training - Mendota Heights, MN
Angel Foundation’s Facing Cancer Together Teen Mentor program, provides a leadership opportunity for teens (13-18) to apply, be assessed and trained to be leaders within Facing Cancer Together programs, specifically for Camp Angel. Teen Mentors will be introduced to the field of human services, as well as provide experiences in groups with children and their families who have been struck by cancer. If teens have never been a camper, teens will be asked to be a camper in June camp in order to be an August Teen Mentor. To be a Teen Mentor you need to go through the application and selection process. Restaurant Camp I is not a pre-requisite to attending Restaurant Camp II. Open and operate your very own restaurant in Kitchen Kids popular Restaurant Camp! Calling all budding chefs, entrepreneurs, and restaurant enthusiasts! Chefs will tour the kitchen and front of house of a local restaurant, and immerse themselves in every step of the process: choose the concept and name, design the decor, create a menu and logo, learn restaurant jobs and etiquette, create, cook, and serve their signature dishes to friends and family. World Cafe Cooking Spanish PK-5 (Friday) - Janney Elementary School
World Café is a great opportunity for our language students to increase their exposure to their target language in a fun Friday afternoon session. Children who arent studying languages at Janney but have some knowl- edge of Spanish, French, or Chinese are also welcome to participate. This session will emphasize cooking. Build a Google Cardboard virtual reality viewer from materials that will be provided at camp, then use an experimental Virtual Reality toolkit to design your own immersive, interactive worlds on supplied computers or on a mobile device.
