What is it like to break the rules...on purpose?! Hip hop has a reputation for rule breaking in dance throughout its history. After all, hip hop was originally used as a peaceful way of creating change in a violent time through inter-city territory wars. In this class, students will learn about the history of hip hop, and how early hip hop created a movement in society towards positive change as we create our own dance of positive change! Youth Winter Camp 2015 - Martinsville, IN
Dear friends in Christ! The Living Spring camp would like to cordially invite you to the 2015 Youth Winter Bible Camp at Highland Lakes in Martinsville, IN December 27-31, 2015! This camp will be a fantastic and memorable event. We look forward to it as another opportunity for us all to share our time together at this beautiful place where you can catch up with one another, have sports, games and fun, and most importantly, it presents an invaluable opportunity to give praise to the Lord and indulge into His holy Word to learn more about our Lord Jesus Christ! The topic this year is "If you believe, you will see the glory of God" (John 11:40). We were able to secure this location for $170 for the entire duration of the camp per person. We encourage everyone to come earlier rather than later to be able to appreciate the time we have together. Furthermore, on December 31, 2015 immediately after the Camp, everyone is invited to the Grace of Christ Baptist Church in Evansville, IN for the New Year celebration! This year we again are planning to light up the lanterns and let them out into the night sky, it was a spectacular view...
Kid's Cooking Camp - Lake Charles, LA
We are so exited to announce our kids cooking camp! This is a three day camp to be held inside the beautiful Majestic Hall at Walnut Grove. The Camp will include: Day 1 Homemade muffins, strawberry, blueberry, bananas, or chocolate chip Making Pizza from scratch Day 2 Southwest Egg Rolls Quesadillas Day 3 Spring Rolls Stir Fried Noodles with Veggies Each Day will include - snack preparation 10-11 - snack time 11-11:30 - actvity break 11:30 - 12:30 - entree preparation 12:30 - 1:30 - eating time 1:30 - 2:00 Camp fee is $225 per child ages 6-12 We are concerned with the safety of the children atteneding our camp. With this in mind we will not be using knives, all cuttting preparation will be done ahead of time. We will have an adult leader to help oversee each of our cooking stations and we are maxing attendance at 10 children to enusre their safety. We specialize in cattering to those with food allergies. EARLY CARE: WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY CAMP - Ben Robertson Community Center
Under the supervision of Kennesaw Parks & Recreation staff, children can independently choose and engage in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, games, puzzles, reading, drawing or simply socializing with friends. At 9:00am, children will be escorted to camp, and signed-in by a staff member. Fees will not be pro-rated for partial attendance. Chess Camp, Afternoon - Francis W Parker
Chess Wizards introduces students to the magical world of chess. Campers learn how to play and master chess techniques from our renowned Chess Wizards. They learn cool chess openings, midgame tactics (including forks, pins, discovered attacks and more) and endgames concepts. The camp caters to all levels of chess players, and participants are divided into Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Wizards. All participants receive a Chess Wizards t-shirt and earn a trophy. Full-day campers receive a chess board their friends can autograph! This class is offered by Chess Wizards (chesswizards.com). Chess campers must bring their own peanut-free bag lunches and drinks. Come and have some fun at our Junior Golf and Sports camps this summer! The 5-day camp includes a healthy snack & beverages, prizes and awards. All juniors will also receive a Free Savannah Harbor golf hat! The golf days are on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday the kids will learn tennis and go over to the Westin hotel for fun activities such as swimming, live crab races and arts & crafts.
